30%faster

Students who register from the beginning of their studies in the Excellence Program (30 hours/week) can reach native-like proficiency up to 30% faster than the students in the general program and have no difficulty in integrating into their new lives in Canada, as students and professionals.

▪ International students looking to study in Canada and getting a post-graduation work permit need to be on par with their local colleagues, both in the classroom and, after graduation, on the job market. Preparing for college/university is the best way to make sure students graduate their programs fast and with the best grades.▪ Excellence program graduates can access all the programs offered by ALI’s partner schools, both colleges and universities, without having to take a language proficiency exam (IELTS/TOEFL, TFI/DELF).▪ Statistically, students who take UCP get a higher score on their language tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, TFI or DELF. For example, a 6.5 score in IELTS becomes 7.5 after UCP. Higher test scores means students can apply to any program in the university or college of their choice. Higher test scores also benefit students interested in applying for the Express entry visa.▪ Students who choose to study in the Excellence Program from the beginning of their studies reach native-like proficiency faster and have no difficulties integrating into their new lives in Canada, as

students and professionals.

All students registered for 16 weeks or more in the Excellence Program have access to a wide range of free specialized services:

Professional

Studying in a college or university program in Canada means being legally eligible to work part-time and, after graduation, getting a post-graduation work permit of equal length to that of the program studied, for a maximum of 3 years (ex. 1 year program – 1 year post-graduation permit).International students can cover their day-to-day expenses, and thus absorb some of the overall cost of their education. After graduation, they can work full-time and make up part of their initial investment. A Canadian degree might be more accessible than it seems at first glance.

Work and Study in Canada

Are you an international student who wants to study in a Canadian or American post-secondary institution? ALI’s Excellence Program assists students whose goal is to study in a North-American college or university. Students develop skills in academic reading and writing as well as acquire the necessary academic research and discussion skills required at the college/university level.
