1897Plant established in Lungötz: From a small sawmill to a recognised wood and timber expert.

Lungötz 1955

Shipping the first wood veneered boards from Lungötz in 1963

1959Plant established in Salzburg: The chipboard factory is the start of a new era.

1962Production of the first chipboard.

1982Restructuring:New production equipment for endless laminate and worktop surfaces installed in Lungötz.

1989Catastrophic fire destroys virtually the entire production plant in Salzburg. Reconstruction and modernisation invest-ments of 150 million euro.

Start of laminate flooring production. World market leader within ten years.

1999MDF production plant in Salzburg constructed within just six months with an overall investment sum of 88 million euro.

2000Megastore Salzburg with 40,000 m² of storage space and expansion of the container terminal.

2010World’s first manufacturer of synchronised patterns on melamine faced boards.

2007Kaindl Floor House: Store, Showroom, Competence Center.

2008Kaindl Floor Factory:High-tech plant and ideas factory for flooring production.

2013Production of two-sided synchronised decors Natural Touch².
