• Consensus agreement on a standardised level of implementation can be
achieved across countries
• We found better and clear criteria for Gold nomination and Gold Level
• We need definitely more time on the process to do it earlier
• We need greater participation on the national coordinators- work on the national
process
• Clearer instructions and more support to national/regional coordinators to
nominated candidates
• To be a Jury member is work and need time
• More Jury members should be acquired
• One Jury member should be an independ observer
• Greater promotion - the process is opened for hospitals and health services
outside the ENSH – mainly HPH members

How to support a GOLD Award winner
• Identify of GOLD candidates through annual self audit and reports of good
practice
• Encourage and motivate appropriate members to fill out the report in national
language and add the necessary documents or results for validation
• Results can be created through an internal audit ( see Irish model)
• Try to get a clear picture of the level of implementation through an on-site visit or
other clarification process
• Translate the report and you comments in English (i.e. through Google)
• Send the application to Barcelona
• If the nomination is accepted , the candidate should have the possibility to come
to Manchester
• Support the Jury with information - if requested
• Support the preparation of the presentation in the pre-conference
• Support the award member with media work, national or local recognition

• Fee for applications,
• Fee for consulting, Training,
• Funding for other groups and Sponsor/for specific action.
