A structured teaching programme for the Church Identification and development of teachers Direction and material for Small Groups Clarity on the Truths of God through teaching, bible study,
discernment and the Holy Spirit All our services to be continually developed and monitored
through the Worship Hub (HC A & B, the Gospel and Worship Services, Compline, 8.30 BCP, Special Services Real Lives and Café Church). A clear focus on growing prayer and the gifts of the Spirit in the services
Appropriate teaching topics for midweek to be developed and delivered

Small Group actions: Small Groups are an absolute priority for the Church. These will be continued to be developed within the Church
Development of musical worship: leaders; song choice; material; software; and appropriate equipment
Our musical worship and song choice is focused on God, based on truth and encourages one another
Identifying and developing musically gifted members of the Church. They are then encouraged into the Worship life of the Church, on Sunday’s, in the Choir or in other aspects of the Worship team

and love of God and be equipped to live as disciples of Christ, while
reaching out to families in our community with the love of Christ and
the truth of the gospel, so that they may also become Children of God.

(a) Ensure that the Nursery, Sunday School, Youth, Young Adults,
Messy Church, and Young Families Ministries work in unity to
provide continuous discipleship to families
(b) Provide age-appropriate, Christ-centered, bible teaching that is
faithful to God’s Word, that points young people to the gospel, and
that equips them to live as disciples of Jesus in the modern world
(c) Provide pastoral care to young people and families
(d) Further integrate the Family Ministries into the life and worship
of the church through all-age services and increased opportunities
for family participation in services and outreach events.
(e) Continue developing both the internal and external focus of our
Family Ministries so that we are working in cooperation with the
overall goals of the church on discipleship and mission

Goal One The mission ministry aims to develop a Kingdom focused culture within St. Aidan’s that will bless the world around our family of believers and will establish an outward focus within the church that will encourage all in the St. Aidan’s family to fulfill our calling of the Great Commission.

This goal will be achieved by establishing a consistent extended mission plan with initiatives that all in the church can be involved with thereby encouraging all to live out their faith in Christ. The Missions HUB will provide opportunities and encouragement for everyone to be involved in accordance with their abilities and gifting. Measuring sticks will include: The continued development and growth of the Mission
team. (Dan Rutherford, Brenda Muirhead, Hannah Labdon,
Jourdan Gray, Pastor Dave Labdon and Sandra Wakeman)
The involvement of church members in the mission
