Day One: Arrival Day Upon arrival at London Heathrow, be met and greeted by your local chauffeur who will provide a safe and comfortable journey into the city.

London, with its unique blend of history and culture, is constantly changing and is considered the European capital to stay in touch with all that's new and exciting. From its wealth of iconic attractions and historic buildings to an eclectic mix of museums, art galleries, and world-class restaurants, the city offers something incredible for every visitor.

Check-in to Haymarket Hotel, located in the heart of London just off Piccadilly Circus and with many major attractions and theatres within easy walking distance. The interiors showcase owner-designer Kit Kemp's quirky and colourful signature style, from the individually designed bedrooms to the fabulous Brumus Bar & Restaurant. A neon-lit, subterranean pool is a perfect retreat following a day of exploring, and a range of body and beauty treatments can also be arranged.

This afternoon your epicurean journey starts with afternoon tea at the Ritz Hotel, the ultimate symbol of English elegance. Here the beautiful gilded Palm Court has become the ultimate venue for this dining experience. Enjoy a pot of tea chosen from a wide array of teas from the menu. Then work your way up the three-tiered silver stand starting with an assortment of freshly prepared sandwiches, then moving on to freshly baked scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and jams before finishing off with a selection of delicate pastries.

Day Three: Borough Market and Bermondsey This morning meet chauffeur and guide and head to the Borough Market. The market is rich with history; as London’s oldest food market, it has been serving the people of Southwark for 1,000 years. Many of the Market’s stallholders are themselves producers. Other traders have built their reputations on seeking out small-scale artisan producers and bringing their wares to Borough. Day Four: Bread Baking and Fish Smoking in the East End This morning your chauffeur will take you across London to the East End. Here you meet a ‘Baking Blogger’ who is a true authority on the food and drink scene in London today. The East End is the perfect area to venture off the beaten track and discover the real London. It is a melting pot of residents from across the globe, and each nationality has had an influence, making it an exciting place to eat!

The UK is experiencing resurgence in enthusiasm for baking, and the East End is no different. Indeed, it has more than its fair share of highly regarded bakeries and is very much at the forefront of the revival. Accompanied by your passionate local insider guide, you will visit bakeries leading the return to ‘real bread’ and rejecting the sorry supermarket loaf. You will taste cakes from royal cake-maker Claire Ptak at her east London establishment, among other sweet and savoury samples.

This afternoon visit Fish Island, the home of Forman’s, London’s smoked salmon specialists. Visit the iconic smokehouse including a fascinating salmon carving demonstration with a champion salmon slicer. This is followed by a talk on the history of smoked salmon from one of the owners who will then conduct a tutored tasting where he guides you through the different types and cuts of salmon as you taste them. Perfect for lovers of salmon, it enriches your understanding of this gourmet food.

Day Five: The Ultimate Gin Experience Leave London behind with your chauffeur and head to the Bombay Sapphire Distillery in the Hampshire countryside. Hosted by an ambassador, explore behind the scenes at Laverstoke Mill. See how the rare vapour infusion distillation process works with and exotic botanicals from the ends of the Earth. Visit the Dakin Still House and India House where every drop of Bombay Sapphire Gin is made. Learn about the flora throughout the distillery and our beautiful botanicals in the glasshouses.

Step back in time as you uncover the fascinating history of Laverstoke Mill spanning over 1000 years, alongside the history of gin and Bombay Sapphire. Your ambassador will then teach you all about cocktail culture and the tricks of the trade in an interactive Cocktail Masterclass in the Empire Bar, the exclusive VIP cocktail academy.

Continue on to your home for the next two evenings, Cliveden House. It has been a place of power, politics and parties for over 350 years. The estate was acquired by George Villiers, 2nd Duke of Buckingham in 1666; he created Cliveden as a hunting lodge where he could entertain his friends and mistress. Over the ensuing years it has played host to celebrities, politicians and royalty, and was purchased in 1893 by the Astor Family before becoming a luxury hotel just under a century later.

Day Six: England’s Gastro-Village Late morning, board a splendid 33-foot Thames slipper launch. Built in the 1930’s she has been restored and is a delightfully extravagant way to cruise along the Thames. Leaving the Boathouse, cruise downstream, passing under the bridges of Maidenhead to the Fisheries Reach. At the far end of the reach, shortly before the 16th century river-side village of Bray Bray-on-Thames. When it comes to gastronomic credentials, this small Berkshire village is unique, boasting two of Britain’s three-Michelin-star restaurants. It sits on a tranquil stretch of the Thames and oozes 16th - century charm; here you will enjoy lunch (or dinner) at one of the eateries that are situated here.

The Fat Duck serves a culinary “itinerary”, as Heston Blumenthal describes his menu. He extensively refurbished the restaurant in 2015 to transform the dining experience into a gastronomic journey that traces a childhood day out. Around fifteen courses reflect Blumenthal’s nostalgia for his younger years. The legendary Waterside Inn has held three stars since 1985. Chef-patron and pastry maestro Alain Roux delivers superlative French classics, with silky veloutés, devilishly rich jus and technically perfect desserts. The restaurant perches right on the river and boasts sublime views.

Also here is The Hind’s Head, Blumenthal’s picturesque 15th -century former coaching inn, which has one Michelin star; the food is more accessible, including shepherd’s pie, and apple crumble. The Crown is Blumenthal’s relaxed 16th-century pub serving traditional pub fare cooked in an exceptional way.

Day Seven: Departure Day Depart the hotel with your chauffeur and travel to London Heathrow Airport for your onward travel.
