ReaffirmationReaffirmation is the process by which a student who inadvertently over-borrows may regain eligibility for Title IV aid by making satisfactory repayment arrangements in writing with their loan holder.•Processing Reaffirmations:

Exit Counseling Spreadsheet UpdateIn October 2015, the Exit Counseling Spreadsheet submittal template was updated to accept both .xls or .xlsx formats

•Allows users to upload and submit to 2,500 records/rows of data at a time, with a maximum file size of 1,000 KB

•With the new template the NSLDSFAP website allows users to validate data within their Exit Counseling Spreadsheet before submitting to NSLDS

• Online users will be able to push all students with previous participation on the enrollment roster to the most current roster for a school location. This functionality will assist schools in correcting erroneously reported data to NSLDS

• Late Enrollment Certifications Report• The new Urgent/Late Ad-Hoc Report will assist schools in making sure enrollment

data is reported for students in a timely manner. Online users will be able to request the Urgent/Late Ad-Hoc Report on the NSLDSFAP web site and retrieve it from their SAIG mailbox. The report will use the same layout as the Enrollment Roster

• CDR Notification Letter will be available on NSLDSFAP• Loan Record Detail Reports will be available in .CSV on an ad-hoc basis• Removal of loans from numerator where the effective date of a bankruptcy, ID

theft, disability or veteran's disability discharge is earlier than the date of default

• Changes for Cohort Year 2013 (official release in September 2016)• NSLDS will push the .CSV version of the LRDR out with the CDR Rate
