    INTRODUCTORY NOTES

Weather: July is regarded as mid-winter in New Zealand. It is light by about 7.15 and

dark by 5.15 and the days can be bitterly cold. Come prepared! Tracksuits and beaniesfor training and maybe a windbreak shell as well. However, some of our best days arealso in the winter with still clear days under sparkling blue skies - just watch out for thefrost that preempts them!

Courts: Where possible the games will be held indoors. However, almost all amateurnetball is held on outdoor courts of varying surfaces.

Post Game Arrangements: We want to encourage post-match socializing and so request

this from all hosting teams. It is customary to exchange momentos of the visit and to

share in some food and drink with both teams.

Equipment: Please let Total Netball know if you require any equipment. We can generallysupply balls, cones, drink bottles while you are on tour.
