Description EscaPro-KLV is a highly effective antifoam

concentrate. It is based on siloxane polymers and displays improved foam destroying properties

compared with many other standard antifoams. EscaPro-KLV is designed specifically for use in non-aqueous

food processing applications.

Method of UseIn use, EscaPro-KLV may be added to the foaming system as supplied or pre-diluted with a portion of the foaming medium itself to aid dispersion. For optimum performance, it is recommended that EscaPro-KLV is added via a metering device or similar controlled addition method. As a general rule, EscaPro-KLV will be effective at levels below 30ppm in most food processing applications.

ApplicationsEscaPro-KLV is a highly efficient product which shows improved economy of use when added to the foaming medium in a controlled and accurate manner. It offers outstanding all-round performance in many cooking, processing and preparation applications, throughout the food industry.

Toxicity and HandlingThe components of EscaPro-KLV have a very low order of toxicity, although prolonged contact with the skin or contact with the eyes may cause some irritation. See our Antifoam Health and Safety sheet for more information.

Storage and Shelf LifeThe product should be stored below 32°C. Some settling of the contents may occur with time, but the product can easily be reconstituted by simple stirring. Shelf life of the unopened container is 24 months from date of manufacture.

Foam-Clear EscaPro-KLV has been formulated for use in a variety of indirect food applications as a processing aid. The product components comply with one or more sub-parts of the following FDA CFR title 21 parts; 172, 173, 175, 176, 177, 178, 182 & 184. All of the components are considered to be suitable for most food processing applications, provided any specified concentrations limits of the title 21 subparts are adhered to. Foam-Clear EscaPro-KLV is approved Kosher Parev by the Manchester Beth Din and has been approved by the Halal Food Authority.
