Essential Neuroscience for L&D
Why we do what we do
Your individuals within your organisation have a huge amount of
potential. We believe, based on research, that they will enjoy the
process of reaching more of that if you understand how they really
work. You will also be advancing more smoothly, and rapidly, towards
your vision.
Synaptic Potential are passionate about bridging the gap between
cutting edge research and companies who can use those insights.
What our day together looks like
During the morning we cover:
• The key discoveries and areas of neuroscience you need to be
aware of.
• How one could use these in their L&D strategy
• What to be aware of / what to trust (how to continue learning
safely in this field)
During the afternoon we explore in a workshop setting:
• How you are currently doing
• What your areas of focus should be
• How specifically you should adapt what you are doing going
forward to be neuroscience friendly!
Finally:
We end the day ensuring you are clear on what all this means for you
personally and for your organisation.
The day is tailored to you, so any information you can provide ahead
of time would be useful to prime thinking.

Why Neuroscience?
The field of neuroscience has advanced
rapidly over the last 10 years and the
insights now available to organisations
are very valuable. After all, we are
dealing with people’s brains - which
drive everything.
According to the article by Lee, Butler
& Senior “The brain in business” states
that ‘There is no doubt that application
of neuroscientific tools, and more
importantly a neuroscienfitic way of
thinking, to business problems will have
a major impact on the way we
understand marketing and business in
the near future.’
Why Synaptic Potential
The knowledge to action gap is often
large, maybe 20 years, we’re here to
shorten that and ensure you have the
information you can trust to make
important decisions about the future
of how you work. We work with
neuroscientists, psychologists and
behaviour change experts and translate
accurate facts into practical
applications you can use.

Amy’s style
"I found it hugely informative and interesting. I liked the pace and you
were both knowledgable, flexible and empathetic facilitators. You
have an ability to make the science 'undaunting' and tangible, easy to
work with." Lyann Farrelly WarnerBros
“Very good topic, which created good group discussions. Produced
lots of ideas / thoughts and made me step back and look inside the
business”
“Great group interaction”
“Very good presentation and excellent group interaction. We would
very happy to have you back again.” Bruce Garland’s Vistage CEO group
“The feedback from the participants was completely positive. Your
method of delivery matched the high expectations I had, you were
able to engage people, to energise them and to inspire people with
being able to present simple solutions to big problems we have.”
Miguel Cabral Regional Coordinator for Europe IFMSA
