1. Organizer The 2nd “EXTRA UNLIMITED AEROBATICS WELZOW AIRPORT “ will be organized by : Flugplatzgesellschaft Welzow GmbH (Frank Steckling) In cooperation with Extra Flugzeugbau (Marcus and Walter Extra) Florian Kowohl

2. Regulations

The Regulations for this event are: • EASA and German Civil Aviation Rules • Government Permission by Gemeinsame Obere Luftfahrtbehörde Berlin-Brandenburg • FAI Sporting Code – Section 6 – 2021-1, where applicable • FAI Anti-Doping Rules • Own rules as described below • Local airfield Regulations

The official languages of the contest will be English and German. Participants are responsiblefor obtaining all authorizations to enter the German / Brandenburg territory (passport, visa, Covid 19 regulations). Please check the Government websites https://www.bundesgesundheitsministerium.de for current information on traveling during COVID19 According to the current COVID measurements, we will ask you to be able to show proof of a negative COVID Test that has been done within 48 hours prior to the opening briefing, or alternatively be able to show proof of vaccination or proof of recovery according to the then current German regulations. As there still might be changes, we will send you an update on this prior to the event. As the health measures on COVID regarding the onsite situation might as well change on short notice, information on this will be published a few days prior to the event.

4. Schedule Tuesday, June 29th

All day: arrivals will be possible, not possibility for training and on site catering will be very limited. Please contact us on that prior to arrival Wednesday, June 30th

All day: check in, paperwork, 1 training flight of 10 min each, first come, first served. Judges training. Planes to hangars, fuelled and ready for next day right after the training flight. Individual training procedures briefing.

09h - 13h and 15h - 18h: Training flights, 10min slots, max 2.500 RPM 1200h-1330h: Lunch until 14h: arrivals (exceptions for very late arrivals might be accepted, but then have a substitute for the

1815h briefing and drawing of lots below and no training and no complaints) 1815h: Main briefing, drawing of lots, drawing of unknown program 3 (see below) and drawing of figs for

program 4 (see below).They will be sent out to some good trainers, like Coco, to design some programs, or you can draw your own. Judges briefing.

19h: Dinner at airport, continuation (if necessary) of drawing of lots, drawing of fig.s for program 4 2030: First transport to Hotels 2100: Last transport to Hotels Thursday, July 1st: 0730h: Pick up from hotels, directly to hangars, planes to flight line 0800h: Breakfast at airport 0815h-0830h: Briefing during breakfast 0900h-1230h: Program 1: Known Program. 1300h: During lunch: publishing of programs 4.

1430h-1800h: Program 2: Free Known Program (of 2021) 1900h: Debrief and brief for next day during dinner at airport Friday, July 2nd: 0815h-0830h: Briefing, deadline for submission of program 4. This will be a free unknown, according to the latest rules. (You can make your own or chose from some offered by Coco or someone else) 0900h-1230h: Program 3: NOT according to CIVA rules (This will be an unknown program from an old WAC or so, which will be drawn out of 3 different programs on Wednesday evening by a nice girl, if we find one at the airport. If not, I´ll determine, which one will be flown J) 1430h-1800h: Program 4: Free Unknown 1830h: Debrief and brief for next day Saturday, July 3rd: 0815h-0830h: Briefing only, if not all programs could be flown due to WX or similar, or forecast for the afternoon is bad, otherwise 12h during lunch. 1430h-1800h: Program 5: Freestyle as an airshow in Welzow with some public. Bring your music, if you have. JUDGES POSITION EAST with safety-line 150m!! (sorry for the sun, guys, there is no other way.) 19h: Results, Pricegiving, beer call, socializing with distance, riding the carousels, NO KISSING J! Sunday, July 4th: Weather Day. Missing programs might be flown in the morning. Departures. The ones who can leave late, please stay and fly the airshow for the airport in the afternoon. Let me know! Note : This schedule may be altered due to technical and organizational reasons as well as weather conditions.

5. Accommodation Accomodiation for participants and crew will be organised. Please fill in your data in the entry form and we will let you know which accomodation is planed for you.

6. Pilot 8.1. Pilot entry requirements

• Valid pilot license for flying aerobatics according to EASA-FCL

• Valid pilot medical certificate • Experience in aerobatic competition at UNLIMITED level.

We reserve the right to preclude pilots in case no relevant experience can be shown and/or the organization committee has reasonable doubt about flight safety.

7. Aircraft Each aircraft participating in the competition must have a valid Certificate of Airworthiness for unlimited aerobatics. A valid aerobatic certificate of airworthiness or equivalent document issued by the competent aviation authority of the participant's country must be produced to the organizers for every contest aircraft. (FAI Sporting Code 1.2.7)

8. Insurance All aircraft using the German airspace must be insured for the liability of damages caused by operation of the aircraft to third parties covering a minimum amount in SDR (Special Drawing Rights, or SZR) according with the following MTOW : Up to 1000 kg 1.500.000 SDR (approx. 1.950.000 €) Each aircraft must have a Certificate of Insurance against Third Party Legal Liability. The Insurance certificate must cover the aircraft for use in an aerobatic competition

9. Entry Fee and Fees to be paid to the Airport for TOTAL:

• Foreign Competitors: 380 € (includes hotel 26.-30.8., breakfast-lunch-dinner at airport,T-shirts, all landing fees and hangar 26.-30.8., transfers hotel-airport v.v.)

• German Competitors (same, but NO hotel): 180 € • Additional charge for second person in room: 100 € (4 nights) • Additional charge for second person for meals at the airport: 80 € (26.-30.8., breakfast, lunch and

dinner) • NOT included in the Entry Fee (except Landing Fees and Hangar) are: AVGAS 100LL • Engine Oil XPD 100, XPD 120, Aero DM15W50 (please send your wishes early, will be ordered) • Smoke oil Finavestan (TOTAL) 44 € per 20L canister

Note : Prices are given for information only and may be subject to change. Whole entry fee must be paid before June 15th. Cancellation, Refund : In case of cancellation by the organizer before the competition starts, the full amount will be refunded. In case of cancellation during the running competition due to the Corona Virus (Government), nothing will be refunded.

10. Free Known Sequence Submission Please send your Free Known not later than Saturday, June 20 to all of the following addresses, even if you have sent it previously: aerobatics@welfen-netz.com kschrodt@t-online.de florian@kowohl.com michael.garbers@german-aerobatics.com for checking and confirmation for validation. Free Known sequences are submitted using OpenAero drawing software (seq format). Sequence must be drawn using the latest available software version. The computer file must contain completed pages.

11. Anti-Doping Policy All pilots participating to the contest may be subject to an anti-doping control instructed by the world anti-doping agency. All information and prohibited substances and methods can be found on the web site https://www.wada-ama.org

12. Protest Fee 1Protest can be submitted by paying 70 €. Fee will be spend on beer J
