evaluate the workmanship quality of a building construction

which is the information collected can be use for

improvement.

To motivated the Site Engineer & site front liner to construct

and deliver good quality of project construction, ENOTEK

Engineering Sdn. Bhd. will introduced the Rewards &

STEEL FIBRE REINFORCEMENT CONCRETEINNOVATION FOR SHELL PROGRAM

WHAT IS STEEL FIBRE REINFORCEMENT

CONCRETE?Steel fiber is a metal reinforcement. Steel fiber for

reinforcing concrete is defined as short, discrete

lengths of steel fibers with an aspect ratio (ratio of

length to diameter) from about 20 to 100, with

different cross-sections, and that are sufficiently

small to be randomly dispersed in an unhardened

concrete mixture using the usual mixing

procedures.

FORECOURT SLAB

Steel Fibre Reinforcement concrete had applied at

ENOTEK site at NTI Shell Jln Kapar, Klang. The

element apply for using the SFRC is forecourt

element which mean replace conventional method

casting concrete from using BRC as reinforcement

to use Steel Fibre for reinforcement.Steel Fibre

BENEFIT USING SFRC

Significant productivity improvements. Time Saving. (Save time on both

preparation & construction stages)

Cost saving together with reduced material volume (no BRC), more rapid

construction (direct discharge) and reduced labor costs (eliminate labor for

machine handling). Average cost saving:

Suspended slab (on pile) - 20%

Non-suspended slab (on ground) - 30%

For NTI application, the steel fiber dosage is ranging from 15-30kg/m³. Subject to

design loading determined by principal consultant.
