The AIESEC congress is a m oment when the commitment of the members, the power of AIESEC's vision and the strength of the global network come together to create an intense learning experience . Each year AIESEC organizes and delivers over 350 national and international conferences where members have the opportunity to receive training sessions, develop strategies for the future of the organization, discuss mattering world issues and engage with the partners from the corporate world . It is a fantastic chance for the delegates to elaborate on their skills, widen their personal network, dem onstrate active leadership and interact with local students in a multicultural environm ent

1. W hat is European Congress ?

Between 18th - 24th of October, EuroCo („European Congress“), is going to take place in Rom ania for the first tim e ever. Being the annual sum m it for the presidents of the local AIESEC com m ittees, this congress is of great im portance . W ith around 230 participants com ing from all over Europe and North Am erica , EuroCo 2012 will act as an international m eeting platform for up to 45 countries and is therefore one of the biggest AIESEC conferences! The m ain goal for the six days of w orkshops, discussions and sem inars is to provide the delegates with im portant “soft-” and “hard-skills” for their work in their local com m ittees. M oreover, EuroCo 2010 represents a platform for netw orking betw een the internationals, local students and the com panies from Cluj-Napoca.

I. Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony is the official and solemn start of EuroCo 2012. In a glorious, historical scenery sponsors, media partners, international representatives of AIESEC and Romania and the Organizing Team will welcome the 230 delegates, and provide an extraordinary opening with cultural performances and an entertainment introduction of European Congress 2012
