AP02 HMS: The IIoT Data value chain – device to enterprise 1 hour
“The layers of IIoT presents new challenges in the future digitalization journey of today’s businesses. Listen to HMS’s approach of transmitting critical data securely through wired and wireless data layers to achieve set IIOT specific goals. The layers of IIoT presents new challenges in the future digitalization journey of today’s businesses”
AP03 Linmot: Capping, screwing and assembly processes in the era of Industry 4.0 1 hour
A new product on the production line every 30 minutes ... On this level, LinMot meets the design-engineer with purely electrically driven PR01/PR02 linear rotary motors. Both motors can be positioned completely independently of each other or synchronized by means of a higher-level control system. With the help of the optional torque sensors, flexible capping, assembly and screwing applications can be implemented very precisely. The innovative product fulfils Industry 4.0” basic ideas of networked production. Drive parameters and additional sensors provide detailed information such as the vertical lid position pressing or impact force closing angle and torque. In many cases this information simplifies or eliminates the need for costly subsequent testing or inspection.
AP04 Molex: A powerful solution for an easy integration of Rockwell Automation PAC in Profibus DP Networks 1 hour

AP09 Stratus Technologies: Enhancing the Connected Enterprise with industrial edge technology 1 hour
With IIOT continuing to provide new levels of data access, IT technology is often preferred due to its powerful processing power. However, the industrial environment is often harsh requiring digital applications to operate with continuous uptime and without specialist know-how. These demands have given rise to the industrial edge which seeks to enhance security, improve reliability and reduce data latency. Therefore join us to learn how the industrial edge can be rapidly deployed within your Connected Enterprise in order to gain better insight to your machine data without fear of fall over.
AP10 Linmot: Replacing Pneumatics in the era of Industry 4.0 1 hour
“Energy efficiency of pneumatic actuators according to EU studies is far below 10%. Only in Europe, 80 TWh of energy is required every year just for compressed air preparation (equivalent to 7.5 nuclear power plants). To get ready for Industry 4.0, production companies are trying to reduce energy costs and CO2 output. On top if this, machine builders are looking for higher flexibility actuators to handle smaller production lots, for improved process stability and detailed actuator feedback from each production step. Tubular linear motors, easy to integrate into Rockwell Automation control world, may offer an interesting solution to replace pneumatics.”
