World class meeting placeThe International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Krakow is one of the most advanced exhibition venues in the country, facilitating the largest indoor area in southern Poland. Two spa-cious halls “Wisla” and “Dunaj” allows to organize trade fairs and congresses as well as concerts, festivals, theatre spectacles, musicals, sumptuous balls and sport events on a world scale. The building is well prepared to host industrial fairs. Comfortable and extremely serviceably, with large parking lot, wide loading gates and the fl oor that can withstand exposition of heavy duty machines. EXPO Krakow is the new location of the 19th edition of International EUROTOOL® Trade Fair, com-bined with the 6th edition of BLACH-TECH-EXPO.Solemn opening was performed on May 14th. The guests at the evening gala, which was adorned with an artistic performance by Art Color Balet group, were impressed with EXPO itself and also with the time that it took to build it. The preparations for the project took 4.5 years, realization only 228 days. It is a historical moment for our company. The new venue will allow us to catch the wind, broaden our offer and rise the quality of our events. EXPO Krakow is now one of the most advanced ex-hibition and congress centre in Poland - our ambition is to become the most important one in Central-Eastern Europe. Krakow closer to EuropeIn 1887, for the fi rst time in Poland, the National Exhibition took place in Krakow and gathered more than 800 Exhibitors. In that spirit of old Galicia we have named our facilities: the larger of the halls “Wisla” ( 5,000 sq. m) and the smaller – “Dunaj” (4,000 sq. m). The conference rooms are: Budapeszt, Lwów, Praga and Wiedeń. Distance from EXPO Krakow to all of this European cities is less than 500 km. EXPO Krakow has an excellent location – not only on the European map but also in Krakow itself - close to A4 highway and the city’s bypass. One can also reach it from Balice airport, Main Train Station and City Centre.

I have seen the venue when it was still under construction and it was already impressive then.

I took great pleasure to see EXPO Krakow fully operational during the opening. We were waiting for the new center for many years and here it is. Things I like the most are the open spaces in halls and the lack of pillars. I also like the smaller confer-ence rooms, that give the opportunity for business meetings in exhibitors group.

Largest in southern PolandWhat distinguishes our venue without doubt is the largest pillar-free indoor space in southern Po-land. In two independent halls of combined space 9,000 sq. m we have used wooden griders from composite wood instead of pillars. The unique construction of the halls allows free arrangement of space up to the height of 9m. The ramp-free loading gates with 5m height and 6,2m width and reinforced fl oor with load capability of 40kPa allows the unloading and presentation of the most demanding exhibits. Inside the centre one can fi nd a series of air-conditioned, modular conference rooms, meeting rooms, spacious lobby and a restaurant. The new venue is also equipped with a parking lot for 700 vehicles.

EXPO BUSWith the opening of our new Centre we have launched a special shuttle bus for Exhibitors and Visitors. The EXPO BUS is a direct connection form the City Centre to the EXPO Krakow that is available during our Fairs. The bus will departure according to the schedule established for each Fair separately.

Second to none formula of cooperationThe forthcoming edition of Fairs will be accompanied by the fourth edition of the Exhibition of Indus-trial Subcontracting. It is the largest on the Polish market meeting place for service providing compa-nies looking for new contracts in: metal, wood and plastic processing, machine modernization and other industrial services. Number of participants of the exhibition have grown three times since the fi rst edition! Last year the amount of exhibitors reached 100 subcontractors from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Denmark.
