HAWKER 900XP ASKING PRICE: US$ 6,100,000 YOM 2009 MSN H-00TBA

Evolution is what makes Hawker aircraft so successful. In 2006, the midsize 850XP made significant

improvements in performance and accommodations. True to form, the 900XP retains all of the 850’s advanced

traits (fuel efficiency, aerodynamics, comfort, performance capabilities), but better.

The long-range business jet features an enhanced variation of the 850XP’s winglets, increasing hot/high-altitude

and cruise performance and range. On the runway in hot/high conditions, the 900XP requires 1,800 feet less

runway for a 2,000 nautical mile trip with six passengers. It can complete coast-to-coast trips, Teterboro to

Seattle for example.

The 900XP features Honeywell TFE731-50R engines designed specifically for the aircraft. Each is rated at 4,660

lbs. of thrust. Increased climb performance and immediate maximum altitude (41,000 feet) are benefits of the

new engines.

Like the 850XP, the 900XP features the Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. Four 8×10 inch adaptive screens

display navigation, terrain awareness warning systems (TAWS), weather, reduced vertical separation minimum

(RVSM) and enhanced ground proximity warning systems (EGPWS). The system is set-up intuitively to

decrease workload while increasing safety and awareness in the cockpit.

With a cabin as roomy as the 850XP’s, it’s no wonder Raytheon chose to reuse the design for the 900XP. With a

604 cubic ft. cabin, the aircraft surpasses all others in its class. Features of the cabin include stand-up headroom,

LCD lighting, touch-screen seat controls, fully-berthable seats and plenty of in-cabin storage. The cabin

accommodates eight passengers.

The 900XP business jet offers unbeatable fuel efficiency, performance, intuitiveness and comfort. Although

improved from earlier Hawker models, the 850XP lacks the power and range of the 900XP. It is simply more

machine.
