• Evaluation procedure: single stage evaluation (so far).• Structured along issues and challenges, not along disciplines.

Statistics call 1 - SSHIst call: 54 projects (?) 1 Swedish coordinator. UK, 28 participants, 13%. Sverige no 8 with 11 participants, 4.65% (of participations), 4.10% (of contracting funds).

countries evaluated the proposals. 10 from third country. Gender balance 43% female, 57% male.

• 482 proposals received and 467 were fully evaluated. 227/467 passed the threshold.

Challenges / Building blocks (BB)• Metris report – emerging trends in SSH in Europe . Road map 2010-

2013.

• Preparing the path for FP8.

• Structure ERA by linking disciplines. MS to give Commission better feeding policy making through research, foresight and dissemination.

• Bigger grip on large issues. Both vertical and horisontal work programmes.
