Reasons why Bauer media would be a good distributed for the new magazine, tune.

They already publish my genre of music and I created a magazine that is already on the market (R&B). Bauer would be able to do that best because it has a readership of over 19 million people in the UK alone it is also well established in the TV and Radio industry, it is a huge international company.

ORIGINAL IDEA

IPC Media is the UK’s biggest publisher of magazines. It sells over 350 million copies of various magazines every year, and also has a digital division. It is owned by Time Inc. which is a massive multinational company. Because of this, IPC Media would be a great company to publish and distribute Tune magazine.

They can afford the advertising needed to launch a new magazine. Because its parent company is Time Inc, there would be opportunities to advertise through Warner Brothers. etc. and offer very good competitions.

FINAL IDEA

Another distributer that may also be interesting in distributing our magazine would be the team of Vibe magazine. Vibe magazine was founded by Quincy Jones and also in partnership with Time Inc. We believe they would be interested in distributing our magazine because Vibe magazine is about the RnB and Hip-Hop scene.

In my opinion I think Bauer would not be the company most suited for my magazine, due to it's distribution that is not that large compare to IPC media. IPC Media export service to 90 countries worldwide selling over 13 million copies every year where as; Bauer Media do not challenge this.
