ARTIST PRESENTATIONJake Black is incorporates many of James Blunts branding a representation techniques in terms of having the artist as the centre of attention throughout all products. In relation to the Album cover he is featured on the front cover to reflect his personality and unique style that is illustrated through his music. The colours used throughout our digi-pack is consistent with dull colours of Black and White which is significant as it reinforces the genre of our video and the on-going melancholic theme.

COSTUMES AND PROPSWhen choosing costumes we wanted to appeal to our target audience so we decided to have Jake Black dressed casual in Jeans , jumpers, t-shirts and a jacket throughout with his own unique smooth style intertwined. From feedback we gained from our media studies classmates we gathered that this image was preferred as they claimed Jake Blacks image reminded them of James Blunt. We used a guitar throughout our music video to represent the musical element of our video and also to show music as a source of escapism for our artist. We didn’t use many props in order to keep our artist as the main focus and our genre consistent.

COLOURS AND EFFECTSThe low key distorted lighting played a huge role in our production as it gave our overall product a significant dull and emotional look. We had a common theme with the digi-pack, website and our music video which were consistent to make our product viable and appealing to the target audience

IMAGES USEDWe have used a variety of close up shots of our artist and also enigmatic images that represent our artist as an emotional masculine figure. We made this distinctive presentation of our to make our artist recognisable by audiences.

FONTS AND TEXTS• We made sure that our fonts

used were consistent throughout the digi-pack and our official product in order to give Jake Black his own unique label that can be recognised by audiences. We kept the colours as black and white which corresponds with the low key lighting in our music video.
