Conor Maynard is a pop artist so we tried to show this by following conventions of the pop genre. Below highlighted are common pop genre conventions use in my digipack

If an image of the artist is used, it is usually aligned to the side

Song title in bold (on front cover)

The same clothing is worn by the artist in both the cd cover and the music video.This is essential in order for the artist to be represented correctly

This is because this is a common convention.

It allows a potential listener to identify the artist and their new single/album cover after seeing the magazine advert

The same location is used in the cd back cover and in the music video.However this is not a common conventionIt was used, in this case, to give the audience a glimpse into the artist’s personality, character and background.So the location used here links back to the artist’s background. This may be something fans familiar with the artist prior to this song release and may be something potential audience may relate to

• The music video would most likely be shown on MTV

music channels which the biggest current hits such

as MTV Music, MTV Hits

• The magazine advert would most likely be featured

in teen girl magazines and some music magazines.
