Hello and welcome to our half yearly update on the Evans Head Property MarketWelcome to our new look market update report on all the real estate activity in Evans Head. Also a quick note of thanks to everyone who has contacted us with positive remarks about the reports. We are pleased that local property owners find this information useful & interesting.

The 6 months ending December 2010 was much the same as the first part of 2010, with activity steady and the time taken for properties to sell reducing slightly. Prices were affected across the board with a dip of between 5% - 7% experienced. This was not unexpected as most major newspapers did start to run ‘doom & gloom’ reports toward the latter part of the year.

We did start to see some signs of recovery prior to Recent Evans Head Statistics

Christmas, however as we write this report, buyer activity has certainly cooled.

With a significant number of our buyers now coming from the greater South East Qld area, it’s understandable these buyers have more important things on their mind.

At the moment we are seeing some exceptional buying opportunities & our advice to investors and home buyers is to get in whilst the market is flat. In fact we believe we have never seen it so good for buyers.
