The Student Welfare Department, Osmania University will be organizing the Inter--

Collegiate Cultural Competitions for the academic session 2012-13 during September 8-10, 2012 atTagore Auditorium, Osmania University Campus. These competitions provide an opportunity for

the younger generation to show case their talent in different fields and are a stepp ing stone for their

success at the national and international levels. This annual event prom otes cultura l, emotional and

national integration among the students from diverse institutions and background s.

You will be happy to know that the Association of Indian Universities, New

Delhi, has assigned Osmania University the responsibility of hosting the first Inter

University Central Zone Youth Festival (UNIFEST 2012-13) during November 2012.It is

ind eed an honor and a great respon sibility for our University. It may please brou ght to

the notice of the students that the selected candidates from the Inter-Collegiate cultural

comp etitions sched uled in Septem ber, 2012 will get an op portu nity to represent th e host

University and participate in th e Central Zone Youth Festival.

The University looks forward to active participation from your college/institute in the

ensuing inter-collegiate cultural competitions. The list of various events for participation is

the expenditure of the students. Each college has to Sponsor/Nominee 1 (One) Team only for eachevent. For further details please contact Students Welfare Department, Prof.J.Anantha Swamy

Administrative Building, O.U Campus, Hyd. The participants list should reach this office on or

before 05.09.2012. The age of the participants shou ld n ot be more than 25 years as on July 2012.

Students must should bring their college Identity Card, Permission Letter and Enclosed proforma

from the college.

Cassettes & CDs are allowed for Classical Dance & Group Dance only

Films Songs are not allow ed in a ll the Events.
