Originally designed by American architect Rick Mather in 1996, the grand, high-ceilinged restaurant and bar has been transformed by
Russell Sage Studios to give the feel of a glamorous Manhattan loft space with eclectic modern art and design features, with a contemporary
New American menu and wine list to match.
The restaurant and bar can accommodate up to 150 seated or 300 standing, with a private dining room available for groups up to 20.

The natural buzz and Manhattan-inspired glamour of Avenue’s restaurant and bar makes
it the perfect space for birthday dinners, team lunches and get-togethers.
We can accommodate groups from 12-30 in the main restaurant, with a private dining room available for tables from 8-20.
For smaller groups, our stunning polished white marble tasting table in the main restaurant can seat up to 10. Positioned next to the wine
cellar and decanting station, it’s a fantastic area for private wine dinners and bespoke tasting menus.

Seating 8-20 guests, our private dining room is a contemporary and elegant space to host
private lunches or dinners.
The room sets itself apart with modern design features including a stunning light installation and a floor-to ceiling plaster cast of a book-
case, contrasted with a beautiful antique wooden dining table.
Want to talk shop? We also cater for private breakfasts and corporate meetings, with a 46” LCD screen and laptop connection available for
presentations.

Past functions have included fashion shows, bar and bat mitzvahs, wedding ceremonies, award ceremonies and film premiere parties for

Hosting a drinks party? The bar at Avenue is a destination in its own right for standing receptions and cocktail parties up to 20, serving up
craft beers and classic cocktails inspired by the US Prohibition era, including a regularly changing list of ‘An American in London’
cocktails paying tribute to great American bartenders who moved to London during Prohibition.
The mirrored bar back displays an array of vintage US bourbons, a speciality of the bar, alongside a small but innovative list of New
American bar snacks.

Searching for an unforgettable space for your big day?
Our civil ceremony license makes Avenue the perfect venue for your entire wedding celebration,
accommodating up to 150 seated and 300 standing. The ceremony will take place in the main restaurant
with plenty of space for your reception in the bar. Once you have officially tied the knot our team will begin
the transformation of the restaurant into a stunning space for your wedding breakfast.
We will ensure that every moment of your special day is a memorable one. Our dedicated events manager will
oversee all the arrangements, from helping you plan your bespoke menu with our head chef Michael Blizzard,
previously of Bar Boulud, to running the event on the day. Not only are we here to organise a fantastic event
for you, we are also able to source florists, bands, DJs, cakes, musicians, and audio/video equipment.
