Everything is Infectious

A drop of ink dropped in my glass of water and all of a sudden, all the purity of the water was gone. My friend's torchlight was all the light we had in pitch darkness and at that point it was more than all the light my eyes has ever seen. A little lie to all the effort I had made the other day caused me so much unease like I had lived a lie all day. Just like one smile from that little baby and the sparkle from the eyes was enough reason even in all my pain to find a reason to live and smile again. You see, everything in life is infectious.

You will see from the plot painted above that we have varied angles from which we have tried to access the little things that matter. In each of the instances we chose, we saw that whether for good or bad, a little can be the nudge that will pull us into or from the riff. The Engineer knows that he can overcome a huge load with a little effort, all he requires is the right force applied with the correct force arm.

So it is with our lives. Whether at the place of work, or our homes, we have a place of influence wherein our omission or commission is seriously detrimental or inspiring to those we influence. Never look at your life and yourself as a failure. It might seem so out of place to hope, yet hope that is seen is no hope.

Sometimes, I find it difficult to write on these pages, but knowing you will read and take something out of it is enough to keep me afloat. It is true we have challenges, yet out of the bellies of these challenges are the bases for our upliftment. You may think that your effort does not amount to anything, yet do know that that feeling in itself is infectious, it will send the wrong signal to your brain and you become wired to act with nonchalance, anger, hate, laziness and ultra-vice. So also is your hard work a catch for your colleague and kids. Nothing is nothing and something will always amount to something.

So whether it is at our personal level or with the group mind principle - everything in your life has a resonating power and ability to drive other things. I dont know about you, but for me, if I must affect anyone or myself, I want to drive them with the right energy and purpose. How about that for a start.

Nugget: Nothing amounts to nothing, there is something about you that makes the difference.
