Mr. John S. McGregor is the Deputy Director for Earned Value Management in the Performance Assessments and Root Cause Analyses organization in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition. Mr. McGregor’s office serves as the Department of Defense focal point for all policy, guidance, and competency relating to Earned Value Management.

Mark Coles is Senior Advisor for Facilities Development and Management in the Division of Physics at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, Virginia. Among his responsibilities is oversight of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO), which recently detected gravitational waves as Einstein predicted a century ago. Mark was previously at California Institute of Technology, where he led the construction of the LIGO facilities, and then was Observatory Head at the LIGO Livingston Observatory until 2003 when he came to NSF in 2003.
