OUT-SMARTThe SAF is able to “Out-Smart” the enemy through its networked CP that fuses together information from various sense and strike assets to create a comprehensive and real-time ground situation picture. This live tracking of both friendly and hostile forces enables commanders at the CP to make better and more timely decisions. Upon receiving information on incoming hostile forces, the SAF develops an integrated response to defeat them. Dynamic adjustments will be made to response plans if the sensors detect any change to enemy activity.

OUT-SENSEThe SAF is able to “Out-Sense” the enemy with timely and accurate information from sensors that constantly scan the battlefield. Once the Heron 1 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle detects incoming aerial and ground threats, the information is shared with the Command Post (CP), which assesses the situation and activates strike assets to destroy the enemy forces. The CP can then direct the Commandos and STrike ObserveR Mission (STORM) teams to monitor the battlefield for changes in the enemy’s activities.

Exercise Forging Sabre 2017The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) repels hostile air and land attacks through an integrated and networked response.

OUT-SHOOTThe SAF is able to “Out-Shoot” the enemy with the ability to destroy multiple targets in various locations simultaneously. F-15SG and F-16C/D multi-role fighter aircraft as well as AH-64D Apache attack helicopters can destroy multiple moving targets in a single pass with laserguided bombs and laser-guided missiles respectively. Each High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) can fire simultaneously at multiple targets. The fighter aircraft can also demolish enemy CPs with advanced munitions.
