Mrs Taverner decided to make some surprise arrangements to celebrate Jackie Smith’s special birthday as she is a long standing member of the Exeter School. Jackie started training in October 1995; after watching her young children Lee, Emma and Philip all enjoying the Taekwon-Do classes she decided to enrol. Over the years Jackie has faced many challenges not only in Taekwon-Do but also in her personal life, her determination and perseverance have helped her to succeed. After her children decided to stop training at various stages, Jackie decided to continue her journey with the focus and goal of one day becoming a Black Belt. Of course she has now achieved her goal but she continues to endure the classes alongside my continual shouting! UKTA AGM SATURDAY 10 NOVEMBER
