My competitor magazines in the fashion/Beauty genre will be national magazines such as vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Fashion. These magazines are all high selling and marketing they are popular with audiences as they target them through images, articles and design of the magazine. However they all differ from each other to stand out for example by using different fonts, styles of images and layout of the magazines. However most fashion magazines stick to the same makeup, hair and clothing styles making them look similar and therefore no fashion magazine differs in the models style.

My magazine

I will make my magazine design differ form existing products in the market through the model having heavy unique makeup. Making the magazine look unusual and targeting a wider audience of unique younger adults. This will include heavy eye and lip makeup with bright colours.

I will also make my magazine unique to existing products by including a bridal section in the fashion magazine and website. This targeting my audience and making it differ form fashion magazines such as Elle and cosmopolitan which only advertise casual/dressy everyday clothing items.
