Brilejeva ulica 3 1000 Ljubljana Experience the northwest of Slovenia First day - 20 th of November – Hillbilly Janez From Nova Gorica we will pass through Soča valley towards the steep slopes of mountain Mangrt. In just few hours you will be transformed into a tipical slovenian diary farmer. You will be able to get familiar with the traditional life in the alpine countryside. We will stop at the traditional mountain hut, where sheep graze almost all year round. They are also the main focus of the alpine farmer's life. We will spend the night as they did in the old days – sleeping on the hayloft. In the morning we will have to rise early, since the sheep need to be milked and the milk needs to be processed into cheese. Second day 21 st of November – WW1, Capital and Local food and wine Mountain Mangart is situated in the heart of the Alps, a stone-throw away from Italy it was always in the draught of different nations wanting to take over the region. At different times in the past, French, Italian and Austrian armies all fought here to dominate the region. And all of them left an indelible stamp on the local map. You will be searching for forts, bunkers, tunnels and caverns dating back to early 19th century. With this trip you will get to know the capital of Slovenia. You will experience Ljubljana from the different perspective, like only a few did it before. In order to find the treasure you will have to overcome obstacles and solve the ancient riddles. You will do this by orientieering and with enhanced team spirit.
