We have invested our lives in home educating ourchildren out of our love for them, but the annualconference is designed specifically for parent edu-cation and enrichment; therefore, children under12 will not be permitted. Infants under 12 monthsare welcome; however, we request that parentswith infants sit in the back of the room near anexit. Babies who make distracting noises- evenhappy ones- must be removed immediately. Aprivate room for mothers will be available whereyou can care for your baby in a comfortable set-ting, but there will be no other childcare facilitiesoffered.

We do encourage students 12 years of age andolder to attend with their parents. Parents are re-quired to be on site at all times. Youth are expect-ed to conduct themselves in a mature, respectfulmanner. The registration fee for youth is $10each. Maximum youth fee per family is $30.

Young adults who have graduated from highschool but are still living at home may attend withtheir parents. The registration fee for young adultsis $20 each. Name(s) and payment must be in-cluded with the parent’s registration.

Through the years the Association of Peoria AreaChristian Home Educators has worked hard to pro-vide challenging and motivating convention experi-ences. To ensure another successful convention in2012, we are dependent upon volunteers. Wouldyou please prayerfully consider volunteering 1-2hours of your time to help make this year’s con-vention a success? If so, please check “I am will-ing to volunteer” on your registration.

In the event you require funding assistance to at-tend, APACHE offers a limited number of workingscholarships. You may earn a scholarship by vol-unteering 6 hours prior to and during convention.This time may be split between an attending cou-ple. Scholarships are available on a first-come/first-serve basis. On your registration form, pleasecheck: “I want a Working Scholarship,” and payyour full registration fee in advance. After youhave performed your service, you may pick upyour refund at the registration counter.

Work assignment: Prior to the convention, youwill be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinatorwith information about your assignment andtime(s) of service. The Volunteer Coordinator willmake two attempts to reach you. If we cannotreach you, the next person on the list will be con-tacted.

The past will collide with thepresent when you and your team will gather evi-dence and conduct experiments to solve this who-dun-it. The race is on to be first team to solve thiscold case file.
