Governance  

1.  Sites@Duke  is  managed  by  a  team  of  staff  from  Office  of  Informa7on  Technology  (OIT)  &  Center  for  Instruc7onal  Technology  (CIT).  

2.  User  Feedback  comes  from  the  Campus  Community  (including  new  plugins,  widgets,  etc.)  

Feature  Requests  Review  Cycle  for  suggested  changes  &  improvements:  •  Feature  requests  received  by  September  1  are  reviewed  for  the  mid-­‐October  

update  window  •  Feature  requests  received  by  November  1  are  reviewed  for  the  mid-­‐December  

update  window  •  Feature  requests  received  by  February  1  are  reviewed  for  the  mid-­‐March  update  

window  •  Feature  requests  received  by  May  30  are  reviewed  for  the  mid-­‐July  update  

window  Criteria  for  feature  sugges@ons:  •  Technical  fit  and  stability  •  Ability  to  be  used  by  individual  site  owners  without  providing  back  end  or  FTP  

access  •  Benefit  to  the  overall  Sites@Duke  user  community  •  Ability  to  make  the  feature  available  to  all  Sites@Duke  users  at  lihle  or  no  cost.    NOTE:  The  complexity  of  the  feature  request  will  determine  in  which  update  window  the  feature  may  be  included.
