Export equipment from aBIM 360 Field project to a building in Building Ops In  this  exercise,  we’ll  create  an  export  code  from  a  Building  in  Building  Ops,  and  will  use  that  code  in  BIM  360  Field  to  export  equipment  from  a  Field  project  as  assets  in  Building  Ops.  

1. We  are  in  a  BIM  360  Field  project,  andhere  is  all  the  equipment  that  we  wantto  export  to  a  building  in  Building  Ops.

2. And  here  are  the  details  of  a  CentrifugalFan  that  we’ll  export  first.  In  addition  tothe  3D  model  from  which  it  originated,  itincludes  images,  PDFs,  a  barcode,  andadditional  information  added  duringconstruction  and  commissioning:

3. Go  back  to  the  list  of  Equipment,and  click  on  “More  Actions”.Select  “Export  to  Building  Ops”.

4. You  will  be  asked  for  an  export  code.This  code  needs  to  be  generated  inBuilding  Ops.

5. Go  to  http://autodeskbuildingops.com and  navigate  to  the  Building  you  created in  the previous exercises.

6. Click  on  the  “building”  panel.

7. Click  on  “Generate  Field  Export  Code”,and  copy  the  generated  code.

8. Back  in  the  Equipment  page  on  BIM  360Field,  paste  /  enter  the  code  yougenerated  for  the  Terrible  Building  inAutodesk  Building  Ops.

You  will  be  asked  to  confirm  the  export.  

The  selected  BIM  360  Field  equipment,  along  with  the  3D  model  brought  from  BIM  360  Glue,  images,  PDFs  and  barcode  added  in  Field  during  construction  and  commissioning  are  exported  to  Autodesk  Building  Ops.  Take  a  minute  and  look  at  the  assets  in  your  Autodesk  Building  Ops  app  on  iOS  and  web.
