… and what about the spirit of cotton?

THE SPIRIT OF COTTON

ELM EHS

With the instruments available nowadays (HVI, AFIS) we can test and analyze a lot

of parameters (Mic, Length, Strength, Uniformity, Maturity, Neps, Rd, +B etc.), but

there is still something inside of cotton’s fibers having different origins that is

not measurable, and this is what we call “THE SPIRIT OF COTTON”.

This “SPIRIT“ can be mainly found in a particular cotton such as Sea Island,

Egyptian Giza 45 and Giza 87 and it gives to the produced yarn an effect of

“feeling and handle” that you can appreciate in the finished fabric.

For this reason “I Cotoni di Albini” is working mainly with this type of cotton

and the Fabric produced by “Cotonificio Albini” has been recognized on the market

as a product of excellence.

Our aim is to transfer the “Spirit of Cotton” from the field to the Costumer
