The Websiteof Migraine Association of IrelandThe Migraine Association of Ireland (MAI) is a registered charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for the 12-15% of our population who suffer from migraine.The Association provides information, support and reassurance to migraine sufferers and those with other headache disorders. Information is also on offer to the families and friends of migraineurs and to medical professionals.The MAI also raises awareness of migraine throughout Irish society in general, as well as in the health professional sector.The Association supports research into the condition and aims

Welcome to the 3rd European Headache and Migraine
Trust International Congress 2012
We are honoured to chair the 3rd Joint Biennial Congress of the Migraine Trust and the European Headache Federation. Following the success of Nice in 2010, EHMTIC can truly claim to be the premier international event for neurologists, physicians, scientists, researchers, and international experts and healthcare professionals with an interest in migraine and headache disorders. We are delighted to be returning to London in the year that the host city also welcomes the Olympics. The European Headache and Migraine Trust International Congress (EHMTIC) 2012 will deliver a four programme in the latest available research, therapies, and developments from internationally acclaimed leaders in the field. Teaching Courses will be held prior to the start of the joint programme of lectures and we will finish with a public day for patients with migraine and headache disorders.
The 2012 meeting will be held at the London Hilton Metropole, London, UK from 20-23 September 2012. The hotel also offers 5* accommodation on site and is just 10 minutes walk from London's West End, close to Hyde Park and a short taxi ride to a great choice of museums and galleries. We look forward to welcoming you to the 3rd European Headache and Migraine Trust International Congress in London in September 2012.

THE ITALIAN SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY OF HEADACHE
The Italian Society for the Study of Headaches (SISC) announces the competition of the biennial Enrico Greppi Award 2012. The award will be granted to the best unpublished original paper dealing with clinical, epidemiological, genetic, pathophysiological or therapeutic aspects of headache. The prize amounts to € 10,000 and is open to researchers of all nationalities. The papers must be submitted in accordance with the editorial instructions of The Journal of Headache and Pain. The winning article will be published ex officio in The Journal of Headache and Pain within three months of the Award presentation. The remaining papers are considered as submitted to The Journal of Headache and Pain and may be published after undergoing the peer- reviewing process. The Award is endorsed by the European Headache Federation (EHF) and the winner is invited to present the paper at the 3rd European Headache and Migraine Trust International Congress 2012 (EHMTIC), to be held in London, UK on 20-23 September 2012.
