New SMYTH F1088 book sewing machine

Smyth F1088 is a very simplified book sewer expressly designed for short runs and the digital printing market. It is designed to produce “Books on Demand”, and it is the ideal solution for all graphics companies, which need to be independent in production of large size sewn books. Smyth F1088 has compact dimensions and it is equipped with 4 hidden wheels to make it easy to move in the shop floor. F1088 provides ease of use, fast format change, extreme operational flexibility and low running costs.

The manual book sewing machine is operated by front loading of signatures. The machine is equipped with an automatic cutting system using fixed knives with blind stitch by means of vacuum between the book blocks. The operator friendly system facilitates the separation of the book blocks on the exit delivery table.

The right solution for producing “Oversized books” The new format Smyth F1088 handles extremely large signatures and is perfect for the production of art and record books, and all oversized signatures.
