After 15 years of developing software, I moved from New York to Louisiana to volunteer during the early aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  I formed The Smyth Group with a group of amazingly talented developers and designers who were also there volunteering.  Now there’s two dozen of us and we do custom iOS, Android, and Web development.
