Things for brand to think about:• Do you want to change the cover photo
monthly, and to feature campaigns? Or will you keep it static.
• Do you want this to say something about your brand, campaigns, personality, staff?

Things to note:• Cover photo dimensions are 851 x 315 pixels.
• Profile picture needs to be high-quality image that scales from 180 x 180
pixels to 32 x 32 pixels thumbnail image.
• Cover photos cannot include:– Price or purchase information, such as “40% off” or “Download it at our
website”. – Contact information such as a website address, email, mailing address, or
information that should go in your Page’s “About” section.– References to Facebook features or actions, such as “Like” or “Share” or an
arrow pointing from the cover photo to any of these features.– Calls to action, such as “Get it now” or “Tell your friends”.
• Covers must not be false, deceptive or misleading, and must not infringe on third parties’ intellectual property.

Key concerns:• No more fan-gating i.e. Pre/Post-Like page now redundant• Can have any number of tabs but only 3 tab boxes appear without
expanding the box
Next Steps:• Remove all current fan-gating mechanics and welcome tabs
• New tab images (formerly tab icons) need to be created for all page apps (111 x 74 pixels).
• Page app width can now be adjusted to be “Narrow” (520px) or “Wide” (810px) in the Developer App under “Edit App”. The Developer app can be found at: https://developers.facebook.com/apps
