EDITORIAL INSPIRATIONHONEYBEES AT JUMEIRAH FRANKFURTSince its opening in August 2011, Jumeirah Frankfurt has been home to honeybees. They are located in four beehives on the hotel’s roof on the 28th floor. With an ability to fly up to three km, the honeybees can find a large variety of plants and flowers in the vicinity of the hotel such as on the embankment of the river Main or the botanical garden Palmengarten. The beekeeper visits the property on average once a week in spring and summer to collect honey from the honeycomb. Guests can taste the honey directly from the honeycomb each day at the breakfast buffet - or even buy a jar of skyline honey to take home as a souvenir. The Jumeirah Skyline Honey is also used for the Skyline Honey treatment in Talise Spa and in cocktails at Ember Bar & Lounge.

LIVE MUSIC AT EMBER BAR & LOUNGEEvery Wednesday evening, Ember Bar & Lounge hosts local and visiting artists who provide ever-changing live music for our guests. The guest’s most favourite artist is our storekeeper Derrick, who performs the best soul songs. That is also the reason, why he got the nickname “Mr. Soul”.

ROOM WITH A VIEWGuests experience the best views of Frankfurt from the rooms and suites located on 25 floors. Stunning skyline views offer the Skyline Deluxe Rooms and Skyline Junior Suites as well as the two signature suites, Senator Suite and Presidential Suite. During the day, the rooms and suites offer spectacular views of the surrounding area of Frankfurt. At night, the lights of the skyline illuminate and reveal a ravishing scenery.

It is connected to the shopping centre MyZeil and in walking distance of the popular Zeil shopping street, the prestigious Goethestrasse and the city’s financial district. All major sightseeing destinations including the Old Opera House, the New Old Town, the Museum of Modern Art, the Goethe house as well as the Main river are within easy walking distance.

ART AT JUMEIRAH FRANKFURTLet us take you on a poetic visual journey with the pictures painted by the German artist Hartwig Ebersbach at Jumeirah Frankfurt. In each room as well as in the hotel’s public areas, you can find one of the Leipzig artist’s large-size original paintings, the largest collection worldwide. Central themes in the artworks are dreams, tales and legends.

All pieces of art at Jumeirah Frankfurt are part of the so-called “Kaspar” series which Mr Ebersbach uses to call attention to the changes in society.

“Kaspar” narrates the stories in lieu of the artist and symbolizes the controversy between seriousness and humour.

Materials: Oil paint on canvas. Manner of painting: Modelling the paint with brushes, hands and feet, which creates the high level of expressivity.

DESIGN AND EXTERIORLocal architects KSP Engel and Zimmermann were the concept architects behind Jumeirah Frankfurt.

The hotel is part of the PalaisQuartier complex, one of the most significant city centre developments in Europe. The futuristic hotel building, the MyZeil shopping centre and the adjacent office tower NEXTOWER form a fascinating contrast to the neighbouring city castle – a reconstruction of the Baroque, 18th century Thurn & Taxis Palais.

The site once served as headquarters for the imperial post in the 18th century. In the early 19th century, the Bundestag (German Federal Parliament) sat there. With its glass curtain wall, the hotel tower stretches over 96 meters and 25 floors and occupies a spacious 22,000sqm.

DESIGN DETAILS:

Materials: The guestrooms display a warm and restful colour palette of walnut, honey and nutmeg, with natural materials such as timber floors, silk carpets, and original artwork from German artist Hartwig Ebersbach.

The Bathrooms: The open bathrooms are spacious and offer a bathtub and a stand-alone mosaic rain shower.

The Glass Facade: Jumeirah Frankfurt has a large glass facade enabling stunninig views of the city’s skyline from the Skyline Deluxe Rooms and Skyline Junior Suites.

The interior design is crisp and sophisticated, with spacious guestrooms and suites with large windows and open plan layouts to maximise the city vistas.

PRESIDENTIAL SUITE

Located on the 24th floor, the Presidential Suite features an exclusive experience beginning with a breathtaking skyline view followed by an incredible sense of space. The 200sqm signature suite comprises a separated living and dining area, a beautifully appointed master bedroom with a private bathroom with a sauna and a dressing room. A second bedroom with private bathroom, a kitchen area and an additional guest bathroom complete the most luxurious accommodation experience at Jumeirah Frankfurt.

SENATOR SUITE

Located on the 23rd floor, the 105sqm Senator Suite comprises a living and dining area and a luxurious master bedroom. You will find a walk-in closet, as well as an open bathroom design which features a rain shower, a deep soaking tub, and a flat-screen TV embedded into the mirror. The elegantly decorated suite also features a kitchen area, making in-suite dining a delightful option for entertaining guests.

MAX ON ONE GRILLROOMThe signature restaurant Max on One Grillroom is located on the first floor of Jumeirah Frankfurt and offers seating capacities for about 90 guests. Head Chef Nils-Levent Grün and his kitchen team are excited to showcase their culinary skills in an equally welcoming and contemporary atmosphere. The modern grillroom right in the middle of Frankfurt offers straight lines, plenty of wood and glass along with light colours and warm lights. The interior spreads a chic, cosmopolitan and urban character. The most beautiful part of the room is the open grill where chefs prepare fish and meat specialties as well as vegetarian dishes right in front of the guests. The culinary concept focusses on well-established classics, the best meat and fish dishes and a menu full of innovative flavours. In addition to the show kitchen, the restaurant boasts a lounge area with tall bookshelves and a walk-in wine cabinet. The different sections of Max on One Grillroom offer the perfect ambience for different occasions from a romantic dinner to exclusive events.

EMBER BAR & LOUNGE Ember Bar & Lounge, designed in partnership with the renowned champagne brand Veuve Clicquot, is a chic champagne and cocktail bar in Frankfurt. Located in the lobby of Jumeirah Frankfurt, it offers a relaxed and elegant ambience for spending a leisurely afternoon or a lively night. Take a mid-day break and enjoy our delicious 3-in-1 Ember Lunch or spend the afternoon treating yourself to coffee and sweet delights. At night, allow yourself to be transported to a lively and intimate ambience as you enjoy champagne, cocktails and canapés.

EL RAYYANThe El Rayyan restaurant operated by the Mehanny GmbH features an authentic selection of Lebanese cuisine with a wide offering of mezzeh, main courses and desserts. Enjoy live belly dancing entertainment every Saturday from 7pm. El Rayyan is conveniently located with direct access to the MyZeil shopping mall and entrance to the lobby of Jumeirah Frankfurt.

WELLNESS AND LEISURETALISE SPATalise Spa offers holistic rejuvenation and relaxation amidst completely tranquil settings. Boasting two saunas, dedicated relaxation areas and five treatment rooms, guests can enjoy an extensive range of tailor-made experiences using the finest cosmetic and therapeutic products. Featured products include creams, serums and anti-aging products from Aromatherapy Associates and Carita as well as perfumes from Angelo Caroli and Roja Dove.

FITNESS FIRST PLATINUMJumeirah Frankfurt’s guests enjoy complimentary and direct access on the sixth floor to a Fitness First Platinum Swim & Gym Club located in the adjoining MyZeil shopping centre.
