The lavish resort, designed by noted Indonesia architect Hadiprana derived its inspiration from the

gorgeous Ujung Water Palace in Karangasem. The palace is renowned for its grand architecture,

exquisitely blending the beauty of Dutch colonial style with the intricate details of both Chinese

and Balinese cultures. Such grandiosity provides the base for Rumah Luwih’s architectural design.

Deriving its name from a Sanskrit word, Luwih translates as more, while Rumah means Home.
