Concussion▪ Certification of training required▪ Any player who exhibits signs of a concussion, MUST leave the field & may

not re-enter“Times Two Policy”▪ 2 or more adults must be present at any team function (games, practices,

PRACTICES Scrimmage Opportunities

Safety is First Priority!Lightning Detection System▪ Riverview & Phillips Park▪ If lightning detected nearby --- 1 long, loud blast. ▪ Clear the field immediately & go to a safe location (not under trees or

standing in the parking lot). ▪ The system will sound only once – does not keep going off▪ All clear (30 minutes) - the system will send off 3 long, loud blasts similar to

the first one. At that time, people are allowed back onto the fields.!

Guidelines if there is no system at your park (don’t assume it is working)▪ Leave the field immediately at the first sighting of thunder or lightning▪ No one may be on the field until 30 minutes after the last time lightning was

seen OR thunder was heard.
