Introduction: The Parable of the Life-Saving Mission

What is our purpose?

What is our mission?

Are we rescuing people?

1 Corinthians 12:12-27

We are the ________________ - the body of Christ!

Do you know what part of the body you are assigned by God?

Do you know what spiritual gifts Christ has given you?

True Church membership is functioning ____________!

Where are you serving the LORD?

What have you done for Jesus this week?

Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her!

Do you love the church?

Are you giving yourself away for Christ?

Conclusion:

Are you familiar with “End of the Spear”?

Dear Lord,

Make me a functioning member of your Church, your

body. Help me to be the “eye,” the “ear,” the “hand,”

that you created me to be. As a functioning servant,

I will give. I will serve. I will minister. I will study. I will

share you with my world. As part of the body, I will

pray and love all the other parts for your glory.
