A Pre-Purchase Education Workshop Why Attend?

Buying a home is one of the most important decisions an individual makes during their lifetime, and it is critical that this decision be an "informed" one.

The very first step in home buying is to make certain it is the "right" step....... the right step, and

….the right time

The training is intended to assist in obtaining the information needed to consider whether home ownership is right at this point and time. And if it is, how to go

about it.

What Happens Next?

After the completion of the workshop participants can meet with a Housing Counselor for an One-on-One Counseling Session.

This session helps narrow the general knowledge they gained in the workshop to the individual’s situation.

The one-on-one session covers: the individuals credit history, affordability, debt to income ratio, budget and savings. It brings to light their opportunities or barriers to owning a home.

A case plan is created to assist the participant in reaching their goal and reach the dream of homeownership.
