What happens to my systems when they are

picked up?

Your equipment will be picked up by one our service team members and then taken to one of our warehouse. Once the equipment has been received, each data device is wiped clean by a specialized machine that meets DoD, Department of Defense standards. The equipment is then sent for processing to determine if it will be recycled or refurbished.

What do I need to do to prepare my equipment

for pickup?

...where it can be easily loaded onto our truck. It is important to let us know what type of equipment you are recycling and quantity. This assures we will bring the right equipment for the job. We do the heavy lifting.

When will my electonics be picked up?A scheduled time will be worked out with you for the pickup that best meets your needs. We ask that you call or go to our website to request a pick-up. We can often pick up the next day and we will work to accommodate your schedule for the pick-ups.

Where do my electronics get recycled?

Urban E Recycling is a local company, with a warehouse located at 5148 Le Tourneau Circle in Tampa. We recycle by disassembling and sorting each of the components. Materials are sent to various responsible & licensed end users.

How do I schedule a pickup?You can schedule a pickup by completing the online form or by calling us at the 813-501-9346. Once the equipment has been picked up, each piece of equipment is tracked to its final destination. You can always check the status of your equipment by calling us.

What if I have good computers that I need to get a ROI (return on investment)?

We have a sister company, Asset Recovery of Tampa, that will assess, de-install, and remarket your companies IT equipment. They will give a free consultation to see if this is the best action to for your business.
