FARMINGTON HIGH SCHOOL CLASS of 1966 50th CLASS REUNION
Talk about an uplifting event. This reunion was just what the doctor ordered! It started off with a bang at Friday night's "Meet & Greet," and ended with "Can't wait until the 55th" at Sunday's brunch. Our reunion included classmates from 16 states...with 72 from Michigan. Of our 365 classmates, we located all but 23. Gratitude was extended to the 21 classmates who proudly served in the military. We were saddened by the loss of 46 of our classmates, including Doug MacDonald, our "Class Historian." A Memorial Tree was displayed in honor of those who will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you to everyone who came to our 50th and for making it one of the best ever. And now, we look forward to the 55th! Changes in your contact information? Please email updates to [email protected] or on your personal Reuniondb page.

Interests: Living life to the fullest!
Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I have enjoyed living in the Chicago area for most of my life. Contemplating an empty nest, I returned to school as an "adult" to become a preschool teacher which I loved doing up until a few years ago when I retired. My time is taken up with spending time with my two grandchildren, traveling, and too many hobbies to list! I am sad to miss the reunion due to travel planned long before I knew the reunion date. I will miss seeing long time friends.

The Empty Chair
We gather here, a class once more To reminisce, like years before Upon the days and joys we knew Before our school-aged time was through Yet, as we meet, with memories near We think of those, always held dear- Our friends and classmates, passed away To be with God, and enjoy their day.
Until that hour, when we join again An empty chair, we will maintain In honor of the life-long bond We forged with those, now passed beyond The friends with whom we learned life's truth Whose bonds lasted far from our youth And shall remain forever near When we gather, from year to year.
