FAST-FIX JEWELLERY AND WATCH REPAIRS® the world’s largest franchisor of dedicated jewellery and watch repair services, began in 1984 with one location in Pittsburgh, PA. Locating the store in a regional mall provided instant exposure for the business. Consumers responded because they didn’t have to wait weeks for a repair to be completed. The store was open every day of the week and the jewellers performed the work right in front of customers. Today, FAST-FIX operates more than 160 franchised stores in high-traffic regional malls throughout the United States, Canada and the U.K and Ireland.

At FAST-FIX JEWELLERY AND WATCH REPAIRS® you can become part of a unique opportunity. An opportunity that provides an important service to customers while allowing you to fulfill your career goals. You don’t have to be a jeweller or have any jewellery experience to succeed. Our successful FAST-FIX Owners come from a variety of backgrounds. Our stores operate only in major regional malls where high visibility and high traffic combine to create a proven sales-generating atmosphere. Consistent with today’s “I want it now” society, FAST-FIX performs jewellery repairs on most items immediately. All work performed by professional jewellers and watch technicians that work for you. Traditional jewellery stores primarily engage in retail sales. This emphasis means a customer may wait a week or more for repairs. FAST-FIX eliminates the wait — customers may watch your staff performing the repairs, or enjoy shopping and returning later. Your clients will appreciate the peace of mind this provides, especially when they bring you valuable or sentimental pieces. They can see first hand the quality and care that goes into every repair. The convenience of offering same day turnaround and locations in shopping malls provides FAST-FIX stores with word-of-mouth referrals, repeat customers and work from other jewellers.

There is an on-going demand for ring sizing, watch battery replacement, repair of damaged chains, engraving, eyeglass frame repairs and so much more. Support Services

Being a FAST-FIX JEWELLERY AND WATCH REPAIRS® Franchise Owner means your part of a family. Our continued success depends on your success. You will benefit from our expertise and guidance in management, marketing, training and volume buying. Through our annual convention, regional meetings and on-site visits, you’ll be able to meet and interact with other FAST-FIX Franchise Owners who provide an added dimension of experience and peer support. Our architects have years of experience working with mall developers. Our stores are designed to maximize sales potential by presenting a high-quality image combined with room for merchandising and attractive signage. Your store comes with the finest equipment, tools and engraving machines. Tested and true, all items meet our stringent qualifications, are built to last and will meet the demands of your business day. Your inventory is stocked so you can open your doors and generate sales from the very first day! We provide full training of up to 10 days at FAST-FIX University, our National Training Center in Delray Beach, Florida. And, when your store opens, we’re there to reinforce your training and help you get off to a fast start. Ongoing support includes a national convention, regional meetings, on-site store visits, a monthly newsletter, corporate intranet and telephone support. Ongoing training programs are available in management and sales for new employees and multi-store Owners.

Complete the enclosed “Request for Consideration” form to begin the process towards becoming a FAST-FIX Owner. If after reviewing your form it is determined that we have common business goals, you will be invited to our Discovery Day Program held at our corporate headquarters in Delray Beach, Florida. At Discovery Day you will tour the corporate offices and meet with key corporate personnel. You will also tour a local FAST-FIX location. Our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and Business Plan Template will be presented. We will then review your specific potential for the market under consideration. Location criteria and a pre-opening check list will be reviewed and discussed as well. Outside of the United States, we award either a Master Franchise, which would allow you to sell franchises in your protected territory or for smaller markets an Area Developer model which would allow you to own and operate a determined number of locations. Master Franchisors are partners with us and become the franchisor in their country. They are required to pay us a license fee, which varies on the size of the territory and the number of stores expected to open in a territory. All Master Franchisors are required to open at least one pilot in-line store. Area Developers would own all of the stores in an area, with a minimum number of stores. The license fee would be negotiated based on the size of the territory and the number of stores, but will not be less than $75,000 USD. Royalties will be paid on a monthly basis. Capital requirements for construction, inventory, equipment and other necessary items brings the total investment, excluding working capital, to $225,000 - $300,000 USD. The numbers reflect estimated costs in the US Market in USD.
