Downtown Rider GuideFAST downtown routing is designed to get you as close as possible to your destinations. Each newly designed downtown sign shows specific departures and arrivals. Here are a few key things to know about how FAST works in the downtown area:

Jefferson and Larned StopsThe stations on Jefferson and Larned are either inbound-only or outbound-only depending on the route. Pay attention to information on the bus stop signs. The station you use to enter downtown may not be the station to exit downtown.

FAST MichiganThe FAST Michigan route follows a loop near Grand Circus Park. Both inbound and outbound buses complete the loop and serve the same shared station on Woodward south of Park. The bus display sign will indicate which direction the bus is traveling either westbound to Metro Airport or eastbound to Downtown Detroit.

Limited stops FAST limited-stop routes serve fewer stations making the ride quick and easy. You can get on or off at any FAST station, any time of day.

TransferringIf your current bus stop is not served by FAST, no worries! SMART and DDOT have local service that will help you connect to one of the nearby stations to transfer to FAST. SMART local routes include 560 Gratiot, 450/460 Woodward and 200 Michigan.
