ello everyone, October is here again and we hope a lot of you are gearing up for the Daytona Biketoberfest .

The Month of September has a lot of big events, Delmarva Bike Week and the Hog Rally at Seaside which we heard was a huge success after speaking to Lutz. The event this issue is dedicated to is by far the biggest, most successful event in the state, the Cape Classics Roar to the Shore. This event draws well over a hundred thousand bikes from all over the country over a period of four to five days. That’s why we have dedicated the pics from this entire issue to this great event. We allowed Lutz, our photographer to roam the streets of Wildwood, snapping picture after picture of people, vendors and bikes. Although, we could have used about ninety-nine percent of the nine hundred photos he submitted, we only had room for so many...

includes barbeque lunch, music, and guest speaker. The ride will support

the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum.

October 7TH5TH ANNUAL WANTAGE TWP VETERANSMEMORIAL CAR, TRUCK & BIKE SHOWThe motorcycle show will be held at Woodbourne Veterans Memorial Park,

145 Sherman Ridge Rd. in Sussex. Registration is from 11:00 am to 2:00

pm. The entry fee is $15.00, if you pre-register, or $20.00 on the day of

the show. The first 100 registrants will receive goodie bags. Trophies will

be awarded in multiple classes. There is no fee for spectator admission

but non-perishable items for local food pantry would be appreciated.

There will also be food, live music, DJ, door prizes, and 50/50. Pre-

registration & vendor forms are available on line. The show proceeds will

be donated to VVA Chapter #1002 and will help fund the construction of

Northern NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The rain date is October 13th.

For those of you who have met me at both Pennsylvania and New Jersey motorcycle events, you know that I am always trying to come up with unique ways to advertise the fact that my firm focuses its practice on handling PA and NJ motorcycle accidents. As I think back over the years and to the items we have handed out advertising our specialty as one of Pennsylvania’s only law firms that focuses its practice on motorcycle accidents, I am reminded as to how long we have been advertising this way as I remember the key-chain pocket knives we used to hand out prior to September 11, 2001. More recently we started giving away “chip-clips” in black and orange with our name, e-mail and phone number on them to remind everybody that if you, or someone you know, are involved in a motorcycle accident in either PA or NJ all you have to do is open up your snack drawer or pantry and look for our contact information. As most of you are aware, we do not charge anything for a motorcycle accident consultation unless we are successful in obtaining a recovery for pain and suffering caused by a motorcycle accident. Just to be clear, we do not charge for mail, making or taking telephone calls, photocopies, faxing, storage fees or many of the other “junk” fees that most other attorneys charge when they distribute your settlement. By the way,

most of these charges are taken out of your share of the settlement quite often leaving the client with less money than the attorney, and you are the one who hired the motorcycle accident attorney in the first place! An additional item we added this year were customized nail files, which are imprinted on both sides with our phone number, website and e-mail, to again make it as easy as possible for any of you to contact us should you be involved in a motorcycle accident. As we begin to think about what we should order for next years events, I am writing this article to ask those of you who read my article on a regular basis, to contact us via our FaceBook page, Lee D. BBQ HALLOWEEN (CHICKEN) WINGS By: PatrickM, NJ. Ingredients1/2 cup teriyaki sauce1 cup oyster sauce1/4 cup soy sauce1/4 cup ketchup2 tablespoons garlic powder1/4 cup gin2 dashes liquid smoke flavoring1/2 cup white sugar1 1/2 pounds chicken wings, sepa-rated at joints, tips discarded1/4 cup honeyDirections: In a large bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, gin, liquid smoke, and sugar. Place the chicken wings in the bowl, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. Preheat the grill for low heat. Lightly oil the grill grate. Arrange chicken on the grill, and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken wings on one side for 20 minutes, then turn and brush with honey. Continue grilling 25 minutes, or until juices run clear.

JUICY LUCY BURGERSBy: GoMama, NJ. Ingredients1 1/2 pounds ground beef1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce3/4 teaspoon garlic salt1 teaspoon black pepper4 slices American cheese (such as Kraft®)4 hamburger buns, split

Directions: Combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and pepper in a large bowl; mix well. Form 8, thin patties from the beef. Each patty should be slightly larger than a slice of cheese. Cut each slice of American cheese into 4 equal pieces; stack the pieces. Sandwich one stack of cheese between 2 ground beef patties. Tightly pinch edges together tightly seal the cheese within the meat. Repeat with the remaining cheese and patties. Preheat a cast-iron or other heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat. Cook burgers until well browned, about 4 minutes. It is common for burg-ers to puff up due to steam from the melting cheese. Turn burgers and prick the top of each to al-low steam to escape; cook until browned on the outside and no longer pink on the inside; about 4 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.

RHUBARB SOUR CREAM PIEBy: S. HODGE, NJ. Ingredients1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust4 cups chopped fresh rhubarb1 egg1 1/2 cups white sugar1 cup sour cream1/3 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup brown sugar1/4 cup butter, melted cheeseDirections: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Press the pie crust into a 9 inch pie pan. Spread rhubarb in an even layer in the bottom of the crust. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, white sugar, sour cream and 1/3 cup of flour until smooth. Pour over the rhubarb. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of flour and brown sugar. Stir in melted butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over the top of the pie. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees F. Continue to bake for 40 minutes, or until the edges have puffed, and the top-ping is golden. The center may still be slightly jiggly. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

BEER BRATSBy: Zachsevo, NJ. Ingredients4 (12 ounce) cans beer1 large onion, diced10 bratwurst2 teaspoons red pepper flakes1 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground black pepperDirections: Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat. When hot, lightly oil grate. Combine the beer and onions in a large pot; bring to a boil. Submerge the bratwurst in the beer; add the red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to medium and cook another 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the bratwurst from the beer mixture; reduce heat to low, and continue cooking the onions. Cook the bratwurst on the pre-heated grill, turning once, 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with the beer mixture as a topping or side.

CARROT SPICE AND WALNUT PIE By: DJKD, NJ. Ingredients1 (9 inch) deep dish pastry shell, partially baked1 pound baby carrots1/3 cup honey2 eggs5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1 teaspoon ground nutmeg1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts1/2 cup packed brown sugar1/2 cup white sugarDirections: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Steam carrots until soft but not mushy. Cool slightly. Place carrots in food processor and puree until smooth. Add honey, eggs, butter or margarine, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and walnuts. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a large bowl. In a separate bowl combine brown sugar and white sugar, mixing well to get all lumps out. Fold sugar mixture gradually

into carrot mixture until well incorporated. Pour mixture into partially baked pie shell. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve pie warm or cold. Refrigerate any leftovers.

MICKY’S STICKY LICKY SWEET N ZESTY BBQ SAUCEBy: Micky F. NJ. Ingredients2 tablespoons butter1/8 cup chopped onion1/2 cup chopped celery2 teaspoons minced garlic1 cup ketchup1/4 cup lemon juice2 tablespoons white sugar2 tablespoons white vinegar1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon dry mustard1/2 teaspoon ground black pepperDirections: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onion, celery and garlic until soft and translucent. Stir in ketchup, lemon juice, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

GARLIC AND ONION BURGERSBy: Jeff A. Pa. Ingredients2 pounds ground beef1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce3 cloves garlic, minced1/2 cup minced onion1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper1 teaspoon Italian-style season-ingDirections: In a large bowl, mix together the beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
