A motivational talk was then given by the guest of Honour for the day Dr. Kamal Shariff. In his speech he gave some words of wisdom and shared his story as a Student. He said whatever you write now will come into your life later, as you are going to be mothers of our grandchildren”. He spoke on Realization, that the earlier we get to know the better it is for our best achievement, we should keep on writing in our Diaries all the little things we can do it or achieve. From the teenage years psychologically what you do at this age and how you live this age is written in your mind like a stone, bad habits that you pick up at this age will determine how you will be in the future. Your intellect is not matured enough meaning you have more of your emotions than your intellect, emotions and your hormones are driving you. If you start doing reckless things now you will have to face the consequences later on. Indeed, his words of wisdom brought quietness in the crowd. The day ended well, both Daughters and Fathers had a good time together. A Father is neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way. “A Father holds his daughter hand for a short while, but he holds her heart forever”

FATHERS DAY CELEBRATION AT ALMIS – GIRLS WING

To celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Imam Ali (a.s), the Students of Al Muntazir Islamic

Seminary – Girls Wing -- celebrated Father’s Day on Thursday, 5th March 2020. This year

the Girls celebrated Father’s Day with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm to convey their

love and affection for their Fathers. The event started off with the National Anthem and

School Prayer, followed by a welcome speech by the School Principal, Mr. Reuben.

Father’s day is the perfect time of year to celebrate and send a special message for dad

that will let him know how much he is appreciated for all of his priceless advice and

unconditional support. Lots of activities were organised by the Teachers. Mr. Zabron came

up with the Father-Daughter bond activity, lots of Fathers participated in this exciting

activity. Thereafter we had a general knowledge activity and a memory game conducted by

Mr. Joseph where roles changed as fathers strained to get the correct answers and

resulted in lots of enjoyment from the Girls.

A motivational talk was then given by the guest of Honour for the day Dr. Kamal Shariff.

In his speech he gave some words of wisdom and shared his story as a Student. He said

“whatever you write now will come into your life later, as you are going to be mothers of our

grandchildren”. He spoke on Realization, that the earlier we get to know the better it is for

our best achievement, we should keep on writing in our Diaries all the little things we can

do it or achieve. “From the teenage years psychologically what you do at this age and how

you live this age is written in your mind like a stone, bad habits that you pick up at this age

will determine how you will be in the future. Your intellect is not matured enough meaning

you have more of your emotions than your intellect, emotions and your hormones are

driving you. If you start doing reckless things now you will have to face the consequences

later on”. Indeed, his words of wisdom brought quietness in the crowd.

The day ended well, both Daughters and Fathers had a good time together. A Father is

neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love

shows us the way.

“A Father holds his daughter hand for a short while, but he holds her heart forever”
