    SOME WISE WORDS FROMFATHER GRUNER

When this article was written, the pontificate of Pope Francis was

but six days old, and yet certain pundits and commentators of theInternet were already publicly rending their cyber garments andpronouncing the new Pope anathema: his humility is really pride, hehates the traditional Latin Mass, his former archdiocese is a disasterarea, etc. Read why the author and Father Gruner tell us that thesepronouncements are wrong.

    By Christopher A. Ferrara

Father Gruner is a prudentman, as anyone who knowshim as opposed to the

caricature produced by his critics)can attest. When asked what hethinks of the new Pope, his reply

was characteristically prudent:“You can criticize anybody foranything. For example, if someone

works hard he must be overlyambitious. Or if he dresses plainlyhe is just trying to impress people

with his frugality. Or if he showsloyalty he is only trying to curry

favor with a higher-up. That kindof guessing game about motivesnever ends. And what does it getus besides a justified accusationof rash judgment?”

For Father Gruner the questionof what the new papacy will mean

for the Church reduces to onefundamental question: “What ishis fundamental intention? Theinterior motive is what matters, and we are hardly in a position

to judge that after only six days, especially when it comes to aPope. Unless we are forced to adifferent conclusion, we have aduty to presume that this Popeis exactly what he appears tobe: a pious man with a deepdevotion to the Blessed Virgin.Time will reveal any seriousproblems with the Pope’sintentions. Should that happen, we would then have the right andduty to convey our concerns toHis Holiness.”

As always, Father Gruner hasone overriding aim in mind whenit comes to the new pontificate:the Consecration of Russia. “Thelast Pope left office admitting that we have not yet seen the Triumphof the Immaculate Heart of Mary

    — yet another papal referenceto the supposedly ‘privaterevelation’ that, supposedly, noone need believe in. Well, theformer Pope believes in it. We

Heart has yet to occur, for weare running out of time. Thehundredth anniversary of theFatima apparitions is quickly

approaching. We know whathappened to the King of Franceafter exactly one hundred

years of failing to carry out theConsecration of France to theSacred Heart of Jesus, as OurLord requested in another so-

called ‘private apparition’ toSaint Margaret Mary Alacoque in1689. King Louis was guillotinedand France descended into arevolutionary bloodbath thatchanged the whole world for the

     worse.”

Father Gruner will seek apersonal audience with PopeFrancis. He requests that thefaithful pray it will be grantedto him.|

haven’t seen the Triumph of theImmaculate Heart because theConsecration of Russia to Marythat is its precondition has yet to

    be done.”Towards Our Lady’s Triumph

Father Gruner’s approach to thecrisis in the Church is not an adhoc one, but a global one centeredaround the Fatima Message:“Those who are concerned about

what this Pope will do or fail todo about this or that problem inthe Church should stop viewingthe crisis in the Church, as akind of political struggle. Theyshould begin appealing to theMother of God to see to it thatthe Pope finally does what Sherequested at Fatima, so that theTriumph that Pope Benedict seesin the hazy future will becomea present reality. We need thepeace that Our Lady promisedat Fatima. And what is peace? Not just the absence of war, as

good as that is, but also interiorpeace, the tranquility of order, that will set things right in theChurch as well as in the world. That is what the Mother of Godpromised to the Church andto the world if Her requests

     were granted.

“We should hope and pray thatanother pontificate will not end with the Pope lamenting thatthe Triumph of the Immaculate

THE NEW POPE, THE CHURCH AND THE CONSECRATION

On Father Gruner’s return from the Conclave in Rome, The Fatima

Crusader  interviewed him with the foremost questions that have beenflooding in from people around the globe. They want to hear FatherGruner’s reflections on the Conclave, the new Vicar of Christ andwhere the Church is headed in these apocalyptic times. They came toFather Gruner because they want the truth!

For ease of reading, The Fatima Crusader  interviewer is shown in redand Father Gruner’s responses are shown in black.

Father Gruner, Rome is thecenter of the Catholic Church;it’s supposed to be the centerof Christendom. How do youfind the present state of Romein relation to the Faith?

It’s hard for me to answer thatquestion because I’ve been goingthere so often and I’ve seen it forso long that I guess I’m no longershocked at things because I knowthat’s the way they are. The womenare not dressed as modestly as they

should be, generally speaking, and the churches are empty – ifnot locked. I’m not talking aboutthe major basilicas. But, to put itbriefly, I would say Rome is in astate of decay. The advertising inthe streets certainly is not edifying. Not to say that everything is 100%

in the dark; there are exceptions where some women are dressedmodestly and some advertisingis reasonable but on the whole,it doesn’t reflect the center

    of Christendom.

Some who have been in Romeand then went to Sicily, saythat in Sicily you still get thesense that the people are livingthe Faith. Whereas, in Rome,

you just don’t have the senseof the Faith at all from theaverage individual.

I’ve never been to Sicily but I’vealso been told that the faithful ofsouthern Italy are more ferventin their Faith than the people of

Rome. In France, the churchesare more barren, more lockedup, but Rome does not display anexemplary impression consideringit is the center of the Church. Itshould be much better but it’s notas far gone as France.

Could you tell us why you felt you needed to go to Rome forthe Conclave?

Well, I’m 71 years old and I’velived through the pontificates of

Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI, JohnPaul I, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI. That’s six pontiffs. I’ve neverbeen in Rome during a conclave

and secondly I’m working on theMessage of Fatima, particularlythe hidden part of the Third Secretand that part of the publishedMessage which is fought againstby powerful people – that is, theproper Consecration of Russia.

I’ve said in the past that all weneed to get our job done is to haveone man – a Pope – or, two thirdsof the 120 papal electors (thatis, 80 of the voting Cardinals) tohear and understand the urgentMessage of Fatima – before theConclave begins to choose a Pope. I

figured maybe it’s time I should beover there and at least try to helpthe process along by informingthem.

The Cardinals, once the Pope iselected, are very slow to go againstthe current policies but for a few

days they’re the boss, so to speak. They can choose the next man,and we can only work and hopeand pray that they choose rightly.

I wanted to see that they receivedas much of our materials as wecould reasonably put together ina few days. We gave them Father

Kramer’s book, The Mysteryof Iniquity ; they received twochapters of The Consecration of

Russia – How Seven Popes Failed

to Heed Heaven’s Command and Brought Turmoil to the Church andthe World, written by John Salzaand Robert Sungenis. We also gave

them a four-page letter signed bya number of priests, which gavea short summary of the generalargument from The  Secret Still

Hidden  along with an offer ofanother free copy of that book. The Secret Still Hidden had previouslybeen given to them but we wanted

to be sure they had it on hand torefer to before the Conclave began.

The next part of the plan wasto stimulate them to actuallyread the packages we had hand-delivered to them. So, with ourlimited resources, we tried to

create a media buzz to draw theirattention by broadcasting relevantinformation on our 24/7 FatimaTV station in Rome before andduring the Conclave and sentinformation releases throughthe various news media. Weproduced both English and Italian

programs for broadcasting. TheEnglish ones were also sent backto North America to be broadcaston our Worldwide Web TV. Wedid everything we could with thelimited resources we had.

As to what effect all our

endeavors had? We used everyhour of every day and everyresource available to us and thenleft it in the hands of God and HisHoly Mother – and we prayed.

What was your reaction to theelection of Pope Francis?

When I heard who he was, Irecognized his name, although,

in the media that I had read andheard in 2013, he had not beenmentioned among the possiblepapal candidates. It was reportedsome years ago that in the PapalConclave of 2005, he was a runner-up to Cardinal Ratzinger, i.e. PopeBenedict XVI. So I knew the namefrom his previous reputation ofbeing in the last papal election. It was reported that he was a goodman and I was pleased that at leastit wasn’t Cardinal Bertone and it

wasn’t some of the old gang. Therecould have been other choices that

maybe I knew better but I thought, well, it’s promising.

I should also mention that myoffice had informed me withinminutes of Pope Francis’ electionthat he had written to us in a veryfriendly way prior to becoming

Pope. And so that argued well forthe work we had been doing. Infact, he had written to us twice:once as Auxiliary Bishop andonce as Archbishop – before hebecame Cardinal.

His second letter was actually aformal letter since it was written by

his chancellor. And the chancellorsaid. “I’m writing this letter on theorders of the Archbishop” – whichmeans it’s as good as a letter from

the Archbishop himself, becausethe chancellor’s words when hesays: “I’m writing under ordersfrom the Archbishop,” means that

this is exactly what the Archbishopsaid. It was friendly and withoutcommitting himself, he told usabout the devotion to Our Ladyin his Archdiocese, in Argentinaand he wanted us to know about it.

And what did he say aboutthe devotion?

Well, he said that devotion in hisdiocese and his country was deeplyfelt and that the First Saturdaydevotions are practiced. He alsonoted that he had two parishesnamed after Our Lady of Fatima.

Actually, we will be printing a

copy of one of his responses tothe Fatima Center’s letters to himon pages 9 and 10 of this issue. But the fact that he actually evenbothered to write us himself isencouraging. It’s a good thing, considering we write to all the

bishops and not all of them writeus back. We have had more than2000 bishops write back to us, butthat’s over some years. There areabout 5000 Catholic bishops todaythroughout the world.

I was encouraged that in theformer Archdiocese of our new

Pope there exists a sanctuaryand two parishes dedicated toOur Lady of Fatima. Devotion tothe Immaculate Heart of Mary is

especially practised on the firstSaturday of every month. So the words and requests of Our Ladyof Fatima would not be foreign

to him.The other thing I had in my

background was a prophecyfrom Antonio Ruffini, who hasa prophetic gift. He told me inJanuary, 1990 that this Pope – hedidn’t name him – but he just said“the successor of the successorof John Paul II would be the oneto do the consecration.” If Ruffiniis not mistaken, then it’s a goodsign. We may finally have a Pope

who is going to do the consecrationof Russia. Prudently though, wehave to wait and see whether or

not Ruffini completely understood whatever message he got on that.

You have partially answered thenext question which is: What is your hope for Pope Francis inrelation to Fatima?

    Well, of course, we’ve been

saying and publishing and provingthat there is a text of the ThirdSecret that they’ve not given tous. Pope Benedict XVI all but saidso but was pretty well obstructedfrom releasing the FULL Secret byCardinal Bertone.

Even though Cardinal Bertoneis still presently the Secretary ofState (but he could be replacedsoon – there is always hope ofthat), I pray that the new Pope will

have what it takes to refute himand finally release the missing text. That would be a great catharsisfor the Church because, according

to Malachi Martin – who hadread the Secret – “the churches will be full with people on theirknees, beating their breasts, and there would be long linesfor Confession.”

That is the anticipated response just for a text, so it’s got to bepowerful enough to have a majorimpact on not just the prelates ofthe Church but the man on thestreet. And so my hope would bethat Pope Francis finally releasesthe FULL text of the Third Secretso that people will finally get it.

My bigger hope, of course, is thathe finally does the Consecrationof Russia in the manner Our Ladyprescribed – especially consideringthat he’s personally, stronglydevoted to the Virgin Mary. On thefirst day of his pontificate he went

on pilgrimage at 7 o’clock in themorning to St. Mary Major Basilica– which even John Paul II, for allhis well-known devotion to Mary, didn’t do, nor did any other Popethat I know of. So Pope Francis’s willingness to openly honor the Virgin Mary is a good sign.

One of the things that is key tounderstanding what directiona pontificate is going to goin, is the people he places in

authority – as the heads ofthe Vatican dicasteries. Whatis your reaction to the factthat he provisionally put back

everybody who was there underBenedict XVI?

Well, I’m not put off by it because,in this case, it was clearly madeknown that the appointments were

very provisional. Pope Francis was just taking his time. Business has togo on. Once any Pope dies, those who are in office at the time areautomatically resigned – whetherit’s the Secretary of State or

whether the Prefect for Bishops orPrefect for the Clergy or any other, all the Cardinals who are in chargeof those dicasteries automatically

are resigned whether they wantto be or not. It is part of the lawof the Church that when the Popedies, they no longer hold office inthat way.

They’re still Cardinals; theystill can vote, of course, but they

don’t have the office. There aresecretaries who are Archbishopsand who continue to have theirauthority – it’s the secretaries

who have the authority to runthe Church in the matters of dayto day. They still need to meetthe payroll; they still do certain

things that have to be done to keepthings going.

But the major decisions are madeby the Cardinal; either by himself

or the Cardinal with his secretary, the Archbishop Secretary. Nomajor decisions can be madebecause they’re all out of office,

as at the moment of death – or inthis case, the resignation of thePope – is when it became effective.

The reappointment of theCardinals to their former job isoften done by the new Pope; butin Pope Francis’ case, he made itclear that all these appointmentsare temporary.

     ARCHBISHOP BERGOGLIO(POPE FRANCIS)

     WRITES TO THE FATIMA CENTER

As the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, the present Pope Francis was agracious and encouraging correspondent with the Fatima Center. Ourreaders are aware that Father Gruner writes regularly to bishops andpriests throughout the world, keeping them in touch with the single-most important concern of the Church and the world today – thatOur Lady is still awaiting the Consecration of Russia, without whichRussia cannot convert and the world cannot have peace. On morethan one occasion, Archbishop Bergoglio replied to Father Gruner

with a courteous letter expressing his own appreciation and interest inthe work of the Fatima Center.

The following letter of January 2000 draws particular attention to thedevotion of the faithful in Buenos Aires to Our Lady of Fatima, and totheir frequent application for the special graces that are only acquiredthrough devotion to Her Immaculate Heart – especially through aconsecration to Her Immaculate Heart!

This letter was written at the Archbishop’s direction by his aid, Msgr.

Rissotto, the Chancellor of the Archdiocese. As canonists acknowledge,an official letter from a diocesan Chancellor is the equivalent in forceof a letter from the bishop himself.

    Esteemed Fathers:

By order of S.E.R. Mons. Jorge Mario Bergoglio S.J., Archbishop

of Buenos Aires, I am pleased to write you with the purpose of

acknowledging receipt of the attentive note which you recentlysent him.

Concerning its content, I wish to communicate to you that in this

Archdiocese, there exist a Sanctuary and two parishes dedicated to the

Most Holy Virgin of Fatima, to Whom the faithful have much devotion.

They also profess a filial devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

Whom they honor in particular the first Saturdays of the month.

In addition, Consecration to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart is

frequent, given that Marian devotion is deeply rooted in Argentina,

which honors Her especially as its Patroness, under the title of the Most

    Holy Virgin of Luján.

I salute you with fraternal affection in Jesus and Mary,

    Mons. Fernando R. Rissotto, Chancellor

APPEAL TO THE CARDINALSON FATIMA TV BROADCASTBEFORE THE CONCLAVE

Father Gruner, the week before the Conclave, prepared this broadcastto air on Fatima TV channel 217 in Rome, Italy. It is a specialmessage to the Cardinal Electors, outlining the serious obligationthey had to be completely informed about Fatima, before selecting anew Pope.

Y our Eminences, CardinalElectors, you have upon

your shoulders the mostimportant task. I’ve been asked toaddress you by people who haveknown me for a long time. I’ve been working at promoting this messageof Our Lady of Fatima for 35 years.

It’s not because I enjoy this work –although God rewards everyonefor what they do in His vineyard– but because the situation is soserious. We’re reading again factsand preparations for war by theUnited States, by Russia, by North

Korea and also in the Middle East. There is truly a way to stop all

this suffering and all this cost. This way is miraculous and almostunbelievable. I’ve done my studiesin Mariology, here in Rome at the

Angelicum. Here, I’ve learnedtruths that are axiomatic, like, for example, that against a factthere is no argument, as teachesSaint Thomas.

Now, Fatima is a fact: God worked one of the greatestmiracles of all time to bring toour attention the importance ofthe Message of Fatima and alsoto demonstrate to us its absolutecertitude. Now, the Blessed VirginMary was sent on earth by God

because Pope Benedict XV, on May5, 1917 asked Her to come, askedHer to show him and humanitythe way to peace. Eight days afterhe made that special appeal, theBlessed Virgin appeared in Fatima, and over the next six months and

the apparitions of 1925 and 1929,explained the fullness of what theChurch must do to bring peace tothe world.

Unfortunately, those requestshave not been answered, not justby the bishops, the Pope or theCardinals, but also by priests andlay people as well. The Message ofOur Lady of Fatima is a messageto all of us, but the responsibilityfor bringing this message to the

attention and obedience of thefaithful lies with you.

Seven Popes – good men – havetried to obey: we’ve seen John Paul

II, for instance, go to Fatima threetimes. He consecrated the worlda number of times but still he didnot fulfill Our Lady’s request. He wanted to mention Russia but he was prevented from doing so bypeople around him. God knowsall their motives and their reasons, but it has to be Russia, it has to bea specific consecration of Russia.

For those who think that thisis a criticism of Russia, OurLord Himself, in the Message ofFatima, said that the whole world– including Russia – needs to be

converted; so it is not to pick onRussia, but God has a plan and

just as Saint Paul was a “vesselof election,” so Russia will be the

vessel of election to bring forththe conversion of the world. ButRussia needs to be consecrated

first before it can fulfill that task.

I would love to be able to explainthis to you. Up to now, for 35 years, I’ve been excluded. I hadappointments to see the Pope

but I was cut off. There are otherpriests out there, some of themdon’t know as much as I do butsome others know it even betterthan I do; but you need to putthis on your agenda, it’s only a5-minute prayer. All it takes is forthe Pope to name the day, to send

the text for the consecration toall the bishops of the world, andfor the Pope and bishops to recitethis prayer at the same time in asolemn and public way.

Please, for the sake of your souls, for the sake of the souls of billions

of people, and for the sake of peacein the world and in the Church, please have the consecration donebefore it’s too late for all of us.

God Bless you. I pray for youand please, bless and prayfor me.|

order of Christian life and it’stoo big to miss. It’s all over thenews, it’s all over the media, it’s

everywhere, It’s a cock-crow,and it’s calling those who havedrifted away from the Faith. It’sOur Lord saying “Yes, the Churchis still here; the sacraments are

still here; the confessional is stillhere; the possibility of living thesupernatural life of sanctifyinggrace is still here.” Rememberthat terminology? “Living thelife of sanctifying grace”? It’s allstill real, it’s all still true, it’s allstill beautiful. For Fatima TV,I’m John Vennari at Saint Peter’sSquare.|

WHAT IS A CONCLAVE?Rome – On March 11, 2013, the eve of the Conclave, the followingFatima TV report by John Vennari, from St. Peter’s Square, wasbroadcast throughout Rome on Fatima TV channel 217.

    By John Vennari

We are here in Saint Peter’sSquare on the eve of theConclave. A Conclave

is rare enough in the Catholic

Church so it makes a fascinatingand dramatic moment. At thesame time a Conclave is regularenough, in the Catholic Church, soas to be part of the regular rhythmof Christian life throughoutthe centuries.

A conclave is always a greatmoment of grace in a number ofaspects, but I want to focus on

just one, and that is the messagethat the conclave sends to whatI call three groups of people onearth: the first group consists ofthe Catholics who are practicing

the faith. The Conclave serves toremind them to be more prayerful,to grow in virtue and especiallyto offer more prayers for thesuccess of the Conclave, becauseas we’re going to see tomorrow,Saint Alphonsus de Liguori said

just because a conclave is calleddoesn’t necessarily mean it willbe a success.

The second group consistsof those Catholics who have

drifted away from the practiceof the Faith, and the Conclaveis like a gentle reminder to goback to their true home. The

third group are those outside theFaith and the Catholic Church, and to them it is an occasion toconsider becoming part of thesupernatural kingdom of Godon earth.

But I think that a conclave has

special significance to that secondgroup, the group of Catholics who have drifted away fromthe Church. It’s kind of like thecock crowing in the Gospel: youremember that, on the night ofOur Lord’s Passion, when Peterdenied Our Lord the cock crowed.

It was a reminder from nature toPeter that he had walked awayfrom what he was supposed to be.

Now, Our Lord had establishedahead of time that this wouldhappen. But it was nothingmiraculous; it was part of the

order of nature that cockscrow, and it was too big tomiss. The same is true about aconclave: it is part of the regular

The recent Conclave for a papal election was a rare opportunity for theFatima Center to reach out to all the Cardinal Electors of the Churchwith the urgent Message of Our Lady of Fatima. Three letters and offersof relevant books available in Italian and English were hand-deliveredto the Cardinal Electors before they entered the Conclave.

The first letter was from Father Gruner and seven other priests – focusing on the necessity to release the whole Third Secret andoffering to give each of them another free copy of The Secret StillHidden by Christopher Ferrara.

A second letter was sent to them from Father Paul Kramer, accompanying a copy of his book The Mystery of Iniquity   whichspells out, like no other book, how dire the world situation is and howdesperately the world needed this Conclave to give us a Pope whowould heed Our Lady of Fatima’s requests.

The third letter from John Salza and Robert Sungenis, co-authors ofThe Consecration of Russia, was delivered to the Cardinals along

with a copy of the Introduction and the Preface to their yet to bepublished book.

A number of Cardinals have very graciously written to the FatimaCenter, thanking us for the books. Let’s pray that these recent effortsof the apostolate to alert our Church leaders to the critical need for theConsecration of Russia, as well as for release of the full  Third Secret,

    Reaching the CardinalsBefore the Conclave

    J.M.J.

“He deceives himself who thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is concluded.”

      – Pope Benedict XVI: May 13, 2010 Homily at Fatima

Only OBEDIENCE to Our Lady of Fatima will end the presentcrisis! World peace and the salvation of many souls hang inthe balance.

Feast of St. Mathias | February 24, 2013

    Your Eminence,

We need a Pope with the moral courage to obey the demands ofHeaven for the Church. Everyone in the Church and in the worlddesperately needs the Cardinals to make the right choice in the

coming conclave. The fate of the entire Church – even the entire world – is in your hands!

Jesus Christ promised the guidance of the Holy Spirit toHis Church, but as St. Alphonsus – a Doctor of the Church –explains, the Cardinals must work too, and apply themselvesto making the best choice for the Head of the Church. Theycould choose the wrong person. In a letter of October 24,

1774 to a brother bishop regarding the Conclave of that year, St. Alphonsus wrote:

“Pray to the Lord that He will give us a Shepherd full ofHis Spirit ... [lest to] our great misfortune, we shouldget a Pope who does not have the glory of God as his solepurpose [and] the Lord will not help him greatly, andthings from their present condition will go from bad

to worse.”In order to choose wisely the right man to serve as our next Pope,

it is clear that you will want to be fully informed about the Church’strue needs and about our real situation. Our Lady of Fatima warnedthat unless Her requests were heeded, “The good will be martyred,

the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will beannihilated.”

But Our Lady of Fatima’s requests have not been heeded. The text of themost important part of the Third Secret, which She demanded be released

by 1960, has been concealed by the Cardinal Secretary of State, even tothis day.

You have the right and the duty to be informed about everysignificant fact pertaining to the good of the Church in preparationfor the coming election,  including the Third Secret of Fatima! The safety of the entire Church and of the whole world may well depend upon your asking and (if necessary) demanding

that you be allowed to read the whole  Third Secret beforethe conclave!

The Third Secret is a prophetic revelation from Heaven which will be realized before your eyes in the coming days and months. Itaddresses the needs of  the Church and the world today , and is themost significant truth of our time!

We know from a living eyewitness that there is another text of

the Third Secret. The testimony of Archbishop Loris Capovilla, whoserved as Pope John XXIII’s secretary, was reported in Il Giornale onSeptember 22, 2007. The Archbishop affirms:

“Besides the four pages [of the vision of the ‘Bishopdressed in White’] there was also something else, anattachment, yes.”

Pope Benedict himself, on May 11, 2010, has also told us that there

is more to the Third Secret than what is contained in the vision, and that it warns of terrifying dangers threatening the Church inthe near future. He said:

“[I]n addition to this great vision of the suffering of the Pope, are also ... realities of the future of the Church, which unfoldand reveal themselves day by day . ...

“[A]ttacks on the Pope and the Church  do not come onlyfrom the outside, but the sufferings of the Church come rightfrom the inside of the Church, by the sins committed inside theChurch itself.

“We knew this already, but today we see this in the mosthorrifying way: that the greatest persecution against the Church

doesn’t come from its enemies outside, but from the sins within.”

Antonio Socci, in his work The Fourth Secret of Fatima, andChristopher Ferrara, in his book The Secret Still Hidden, havedemonstrated conclusively from other sources as well what the

Holy Father here admits, that we have yet to see the entirety ofthe Third Secret.

Yet Cardinal Bertone claimed on May 31, 2007 that no text in whichOur Lady says anything critical of Vatican officials, policies, or planscould possibly be “authentic.” He believes that in so speaking, OurLady would be disloyal to the Church. But it is precisely because ofHer love of Christians that She would speak out about the dangers

to our salvation. No Pope has ever officially and magisterially said that the missing

text (which contains Our Lady’s words explaining the vision of theBishop dressed in White) is “inauthentic.” On the contrary, John PaulII and Benedict XVI have spoken favorably of this hidden text overand over again. And Pope John Paul II himself has already repliedto Cardinal Bertone’s false claim, when he said:

“Can the Mother, Who with all the force of the love that Shefosters in the Holy Spirit and desires everyone’s salvation – canShe remain silent when She sees the very bases of Her children’ssalvation undermined?”

He replies to his own question: “No! She cannot remain silent.”How could She remain silent about our only means of overcomingthe dangers facing us – “dangers to the faith and the life of theChristian,” as Cardinal Ratzinger publicly acknowledged to be the

    subject of the Third Secret?

Besides, you yourself surely know that there is no divine guaranteethat Church leaders will always be beyond reproach. It is in SacredScripture itself that even the Prelates of the Church can be subvertedfrom the true service of Jesus Christ! In Acts 20:28-31, St. Paul warnsChurch leaders to be on their guard against corruption within theirown ranks:

“Take heed to yourselves and to the whole flock in whichthe Holy Spirit has placed you as bishops, to rule the Church ofGod... I know that after my departure fierce wolves will get inamong you, and will not spare the flock. And from among your

own selves men will rise speaking perverse things, to draw awaythe disciples after them. Watch therefore...”

Just as St. Paul warned you to watch lest your fellow bishopsmislead you and other souls, so, too, has the Mother of God at Fatima

given you a similar warning. And God Himself has endorsed theMessage of Fatima by the stupendous Miracle of the Sun, sothat His Ministers would believe and heed Our Lady’s requests.

Our Lady of Fatima wants you to know Her exact words – and youneed to know them in order to choose wisely and according to thedesire of the Holy Spirit. Watch therefore, and ask that you be allowedto hear Our Lady’s words. You have a right and even a duty to insist

upon seeing them.Cardinal Bertone has no jurisdiction over the Message of Fatima,

and he has no right to impose his groundless opinion about OurLady’s Message upon you or upon any of the faithful.

Please, Your Eminence, before you cast your first ballot, demandaccess to the FULL text of the Third Secret. It is the truth that youneed and to which you are entitled in order to fulfill your obligation

under oath to do all in your power to choose the best man for ournext Pope!

If Cardinal Bertone refuses to allow you to see the Third Secretbefore the conclave, then demand it again within the conclave, whenhe is no longer Secretary of State. Urge other Cardinals as well tomake a resolution asking that the Secret be brought in and read to all.

The welfare of the Church and the survival of many Catholics in

the world, depends upon the prompt and full obedience of the nextPope to the demands of Our Lady of Fatima, the Queen of Heaven! It is imperative that you be fully informed of Her Message in orderto select the proper candidate for this great task.

We pray daily at Mass and in our Holy Rosaries for an abundanceof extraordinary graces you will need in the coming Conclave tostand up for the truth, and to overcome the obstacles placed before

you and your brother Cardinal electors, by Cardinal Bertone (andCardinal Sodano before him) who have unjustly withheld Our Lady’scomplete Message.

May Our Lord and His Holy Mother guide you in the critical role you will play in choosing the next Vicar of Jesus Christ for His Church.

    Your Eminence,

I am the author of the enclosed book Te Mystery of Iniquity  and Ibelieve that its contents are most important at this very critical juncturein Church history.

St. Paul tells us that there is a mystery of iniquity at work: “For themystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, dohold, until he be taken out of the way.” (2 Tess. 2:7)

Tis book exposes that mystery of iniquity and is the fruit of more than

30 years of research into Freemasonry, secret societies, and their relationto that mystery of iniquity revealed in Scripture, in Catholic prophecy, and in Marian apparitions.

Te Pope who is to be elected in the coming days will have to dealdirectly or indirectly with the mystery of iniquity.

Tis book will provide a deeper and broader understanding ofthat mystery.

Tis book explains the mystery of iniquity in the light of the Message ofFatima and in the geopolitical perspective of the Tird Secret of Fatima, and reveals the gravity of Our Lady’s message in the Tird Secret and theurgency to act upon it.

With sentiments of profound respect and deep veneration,

    I am yours faithfully

    21 February, A.D. 2013

    Your Eminence,

Greetings to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As you know, in the next few weeks you will be faced with one of themost important decisions you will ever make in your lifetime – the election

of the Pope to lead Our Lord’s Catholic Church. In fact, given the currentstate of the Church and the world, this papal election will be one of themost important in history.

Enclosed you will find the Preface and Introduction of a new book aboutto be published in the United States and distributed throughout the worldconcerning the failure of the last seven Popes, including John Paul II andBenedict XVI, to consecrate the nation of Russia to the Immaculate Heart

of Mary, a command that was given by Heaven to the Church 84 yearsago in 1929.

It is our conviction that the time for excuses and fabrications is over, for God will no longer tolerate Churchmen who willfully disobey Himand instead make long prayers in the streets like the Pharisees of old. TheCatholic Church, of which we, the authors of the new book, are faithfuland loyal parishioners, is on the brink of divine judgment for all its sinsof the past few decades. Our Lady is weary of holding back the arms ofGod’s justice against the Church. As 1 Peter 4:17 says, “For it is time forthe judgment to begin with the household of God…”

We do have another option available to us, however. The power toappease God and curtail His divine wrath upon the Church is in yourhands, especially now that you will be electing the next Pope. We need aPope who will be completely faithful to the commands of Heaven; someone who fears God more than man; someone who still believes in miracles and

the intervention of God rather than political correctness and ecumenicalexpediency; someone who admits to the Church’s failures for the pastseveral decades instead of covering them up; someone who can envisiona whole new era of Our Lady’s promised peace spreading abroad to the

whole world and converting it to the Christian faith.

In order to help you see a more realistic and enlightened perspective of what has really occurred concerning the Popes’ negligence toward Fatimafor the last several decades, we have written the Preface and Introduction with the express purpose of ripping away the cloak of secrecy and exposingthe ‘nakedness of the emperor,’ so to speak, for it is the only way we areleft with, after 84 years of negligence, to shake those to the core who hold

the power to reverse the downward spiral of the Church. I’m sure, if youare like us, you do not want to see the Church go through another centurylike we went through in the Twentieth Century – the worst bloodbath the

world has ever known. Trust us when we say to you that all of it was apunishment from God for not obeying what He commanded in 1929, andit will only get worse in the Twenty-first Century unless we obey.

Please, without delay, read these excerpts from our book and prayerfully

consider what we say. We are mere humble parishioners of no officialstanding in the Church, but God often uses such still small voices to speakloud and clear to those He has put in authority. We are that voice to you.Through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima, may you elect a Pope

who will finally consecrate the nation of Russia, explicitly by name, to HerImmaculate Heart, in union with all the world’s bishops. As Jesus said,“They will repent and do it, but it will be late…”

We will be praying for you prior to and during the conclave. May God’sSpirit rest upon you and give you much wisdom.

    Sincerely in Christ,

AN OPEN LETTER TO HISHOLINESS POPE FRANCIS

In the following Open Letter to His Holiness, several Fatima Centerstaff members formally plead with our new Pope to heed Our Lady’srequest for the Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart. The

Queen of Heaven’s request for this Consecration has been neglectedfor 84 years, at a terrible cost in lives and human suffering throughoutthe world. This letter expresses the fervent hope which we all share, that our new Holy Father will truly be “Our Lady’s Pope,” and obey HerFatima requests.

    J.M.J .

“Make me an instrument of Your Peace....” - St. Francis of Assisi

    Dearest Holy Father,

For more than 35 years, Our Lady’s Apostolate has worked to spread theMessage of Fatima and to promote Marian devotion and peace throughoutthe world. You have received our letters through the years and you havebeen kind enough to respond with appreciative and encouraging words.

This means a great deal to us, as we often meet with rebuff andeven criticism from those in the hierarchy who prefer to downplayMarian devotion and consign the Message of Fatima to the past. Weknow you are a friend of Our Lady and that you take the Message ofFatima seriously.

So we are encouraged to write to you as our shepherd on a matter of greaturgency for the Church and the world. As you know, Our Lady of Fatima

made certain requests and specific predictions of a contingent nature. Oneof those requests was that the Pope, in unison with the bishops, consecrateRussia to Her Immaculate Heart. It is a simple request, one that can beaccomplished in a few minutes.

Yet, Our Lady still awaits this consecration. Despite claims to thecontrary, no consecration of Russia under the specified conditionshas been performed by any Pope, including Blessed John Paul II, who

on March 25, 1984, (and at other times) consecrated the world – notRussia – and he did this also without the necessary participation of allthe bishops.

Further proof that the consecration has not been done is the fact thatafter 29 years Russia has not been converted to the Catholic Faith and peace

has not been given to the world – the two blessings Our Lady promised would result from the consecration.

We recall that Our Lady Herself told Sister Lucy of Fatima “Make itknown to the Holy Father that I am always awaiting the Consecration of

Russia to My Immaculate Heart. Without the Consecration, Russia willnot be able to convert, nor will the world have peace.”

Our Lady also predicted that were the consecration to be delayed toolong, then “nations would be annihilated” and the Pope, the Church andthe faithful would have much to suffer. With all of this in mind, HolyFather, we implore you as your children, please do as Our Lady has asked:consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart in unison with the bishops of

the Catholic Church. The promised benefits of such a consecration are wonderful indeed,

and the certain consequences of delaying it terrible beyond imagination. So much can be gained for doing so little if only we trust in Our Lady andobey Her command.

It is our fervent hope that you, Holy Father, a proven friend of Our Lady, will be the Pope to bring peace to the world and to the Church by performing

this long-awaited act of consecration. Our Lady of Fatima said: “Only I canhelp you.” We need only place our confidence in Our Mother and obey Herspecific requests, and Our Lady will fulfill Her promise and bring peace to the

     whole world.

THE PAPAL COAT OF ARMS &THE POPE’S MOTTO

It is customary for each bishop, including the Pope, to choose for

himself a Coat of Arms and an Episcopal Motto when he assumes hisnew office in the Church. The Papal Coat of Arms typically displaysthe keys of St. Peter, and was formerly wont to include the Papal Tiaraas well.

Below is the shield and motto chosen by Pope Francis for hispontificate, with its symbolism explained in the following article. Theshield is reminiscent of the Pope’s Jesuit background, and perhapsalso of the Emperor Constantine’s vision of Our Lord’s Cross in the sky,

since the “IHS” monogram (the first three letters of the Holy Name inGreek) appear in the sun. Thus they reinforce the commonly-understood second sense of that acronym, “In Hoc Signo Vinces.”

The papal motto reminds us of Our Lord’s calling of St. Matthew(Mt. 9:9; Mk. 2:14; Lk. 5:27), drawing the phrase “Miserando AtqueEligendo” from St. Bedes’ commentary on that event. Applied tohimself, its meaning might be translated, “Lowly and yet chosen.” Thearticle below is largely drawn from the Vatican Press Office bulletin.

    THE SHIELD

In its essential elements, PopeFrancis decided to keep his oldcoat-of-arms, chosen at the timeof his episcopal consecration

    and characterized by a linearsimplicity.

The blue shield is surmountedby the symbols of the papaldignity, the same as those desiredby his predecessor Benedict XVI(miter placed between crossed

keys of gold and silver, bound bya red cord). In the upper part ofthe blue shield stands the emblemof the order of origin of the Pope, the Society of Jesus: a radiant and

blazing sun containing the letters,in red, IHS, the monogram ofChrist. The letter H is surmountedby a cross; at the tip, the threenails in black.

Below, are found the star andthe flower of spikenard. The star, according to the ancient heraldictradition, symbolizes the VirginMary, Mother of Christ and ofthe Church, while the flower ofspikenard indicates St. Joseph, patron of the universal Church. In the Spanish iconographictradition, in fact, St. Joseph isdepicted holding a branch ofspikenard. images in his shield, the Pope wanted to express his particulardevotion to the Blessed Virgin andSt. Joseph.

    THE MOTTO

The motto of the Holy Father,Francis, is taken from the homiliesof St. Bede the Venerable, priest (Om. 21, CCL 122, 149-151), who, commenting on theGospel account of the calling

of St. Matthew, writes: “Viditergo lesus publicanum et quiamiserando atque eligendo vidit, ait illi: ‘Sequere me’” (“ Jesus sawa man called Matthew sitting atthe tax office, and he said to him:“Follow Me.” Jesus saw Matthew, not merely in the usual sense, but more significantly with Hismerciful understanding of men.He saw the tax collector and, because he saw him through theeyes of mercy and chose him, hesaid to him: “Follow Me.”

This homily is a tribute to the

Divine Mercy and is reproducedin the  Liturgy of the Hours  forthe Feast of St. Matthew. It hasa particular meaning in the lifeand in the spiritual journey of thePope. In fact, on the Feast of St.Matthew [September 21] in the

year 1953, the young Jorge MarioBergoglio experienced at the ageof 17 years, in a very special way,the loving presence of God in hislife. Following a confession, he felt

his heart touched and sensed thedescent of the mercy of God, who

with a look of tender love, called

him to the religious life, followingthe example of St. Ignatiusof Loyola.

Once he was elected bishop, HisExcellency Monsignor Bergoglio,in memory of the event whichmarked the beginning of his

total consecration to God in HisChurch, decided to choose, as hismotto and his program of life, theexpression of St. Bede miserandoatque eligendo, which he decidedto reproduce also in his pontificalcoat-of-arms.|

SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI WAS COMMITTED TOTHE CONVERSION OF SOULS

Pope Francis tells us that he chose his new name because of his desireto emulate three virtues of St. Francis of Assisi: his love of poverty, hislove of peace, and his love of God’s creation.

This choice of our Holy Father to bear St. Francis’s name has generateda flurry of new interest in the great 13th-Century saint and reformer. But as well-known as St. Francis is, there are also many popularmisconceptions about how his simplicity and love of peace foundexpression in his faith.

St. Francis is a model of charity and peace but he had no tolerancefor compromising his witness to the one true Faith. The followingarticle will give the reader an important insight into who St. Francisreally was.

    By John Vennari

Saint Francis of Assisi wasfirmly committed to thetruth that “outside the

Catholic Church, there is nosalvation.” He was not a proponentof modernist dialogue, but anapostle of Christ who preachedthe Gospel,

    1. for the salvation of those souls who were already Catholic, but hadfallen away from the Gospel ideal, and

    2. for the salvation of infidelsand non-believers, whom he

knew would be lost if they did notembrace Christ and His one trueCatholic Church.

    Knight of the Church Militant

His biographer, Fr. Cuthbert,OSFC, wrote that Saint Francis was “apt to be impatient withmeddlers and heretics tothe end.”1

In fact, Saint Francis had strong words concerning those who donot accept Catholic truth. He didnot speak in vague terms aboutthe “seeds of truth found in allreligions.” Nor did he announcehis famous trip to preach tothe Moslems and the Sultanas “an invitation to dialoguebetween the great monotheisticreligions in the service of thehuman family.”

No! He preached the need forconversion of the non-Catholicsto the one true Church of Christfor salvation. Nothing less

would suffice. In one of St. Francis’s oldest

Admonitiones (“Admonitions”) tothe Brothers in his Order, he saidthe following regarding those whodo not accept Catholic truth:

    “All, who have seen Jesus

in the flesh but have not seenHim according to the Spiritand in His Divinity, and havenot believed that He was reallythe Son of God, are doomed. Also those are doomed whosee the Sacrament of the Bodyof Christ, which is consecrated

with the words of the Lord onthe altar and by the hand of thepriest in the form of bread and wine, but do not see in it theSpirit and Divinity and have notbelieved that it really is Our LordJesus Christ’s most holy Bodyand Blood.”2

Thus, those who try to portraySaint Francis of Assisi as anapostle of Vatican II’s new brandof dialogue and ecumenism arenot telling the truth. Those whopractice post-Conciliar ecumenismand claim they imitate Saint Francis

are either ignorant of St. Francis’slife or are simply not being honest.

This is especially true sincetoday’s ecumenism does not seek

the conversion of non-Catholics tothe one true religion, but only seeksto work together with all religionsin a “reconciled diversity” for the

    “betterment of the human family.”3

There is no sharper contrast tothis new, effeminate ecumenismthan Saint Francis’s encounter with the Sultan, and hisFriars’ missionary zeal amongthe Muslims.

Saint Francis vs. Islam Around 1219, after a General

Chapter of the Order, Saint Francisdecided to undertake a missionto the Muhammadans in Egypt, where also there was a Crusadebeing fought.

During this time, Francis stayed with the Christian army, andthen crossed over to the Moslemlines. Once outside the Christianlines, Moslem soldiers seized him.Francis told the soldiers that he wanted to preach Christ to theSultan, who allowed him intothe camp.

When brought to the Sultan,Francis said, “I am sent by theMost High God, to show you and

your people the way of salvationby announcing to you the truthsof the Gospel.”4

When Saint Francis preached, the Sultan felt himself very muchdrawn to Francis and to the powerof his words. – so much so, that he

invited Francis to stay with him.

“Willingly,” Francis replied,“if you and your people will beconverted to Christ”.5

Francis then proposed his famouschallenge. He said: “If you yet waverbetween Christ and Mohammed, order a fire kindled and I will gointo it with your priests that youmay see which is the true Faith.”6

The Sultan was not willing to

permit this trial by fire, so Francisrequested permission to leave. TheSultan gave orders that Francisbe conducted back to his camp

     with courtesy.

Important point: when theMuslim refused to convert, Saint

Francis ended the dialogue! There was nothing more to discuss.

While this was going on inEgypt, there were five firebrandFranciscan Friars kicking up somuch dust in Muslim Morocco thatall five of them would be put todeath. Their names were BrothersBerardo, Ortho, Pietro, Accursoand Aduto.

First they went to Spain, toMoslem Seville. Because they triedto preach the Gospel there, they were scourged, imprisoned andexpelled from that kingdom.

Then they went over to MuslimMorocco in an attempt to convertthe infidels. When they arrived, these Friars did more than just

preach in the streets. Theymarched right into a mosque anddenounced Mohammed from insidethe mosque.7

The Friars were seized, imprisoned and scourged, but thatdid not temper their zeal. Whilein prison, they tried repeatedly toconvert the jailers.

The rulers of Morocco tried tofind a diplomatic way out of this, so

they arranged for these imperiousFriars to be sent out of the country.

    Faithful Witnesses

How did the five Franciscansrespond? Father Cuthbert relates:“But the five Friars knew nothing ofdiplomacy and had not the temper

to live and let live. Mohammed was, in their eyes, the enemy ofChrist, and the souls of this people

were rightful spoils for their DivineRedeemer. To go back upon theirmission would be a traitorousbacksliding from their fealty totheir Savior.”8

At the first opportunity, theFranciscans gave their jailkeepersthe slip. Immediately, they returnedto the city, and were again in front ofthe mosque appealing to the infidelsto renounce Mohammed andaccept Christ.

They were seized, cast into jailand tortured. While they were onthe rack, the jailers promised theFriars that their lives would be

spared and they would be givengifts, if they would deny Christ andaccept Mohammed.

    The Friars responded by

uttering the praises of OurLord, and urged the torturers torenounce Mohammed and acceptJesus Christ.

The Muhammadans answeredby beheading each Friar, andcasting their bodies outside the

walls to be the food of dogs. APortuguese dignitary arrangeda stealth operation to have theirbodies rescued. They were taken toPortugal, and with great reverencethey were laid in the Church of theCanons Regular (Augustinian)in Coimbra.

Among all the people whoflocked to pray to and honor themartyred Franciscans, there was a

young Augustinian Canon who wasenraptured by the zeal and love ofChrist that burned in these Friars. He sought out the local Franciscans

and begged to be admitted tothe Order.

That young Augustinian, whobecame A Franciscan, is nowknown to us as Saint Anthony ofPadua, the Miracle Worker, whomCatholics honor with the title,

“Hammer of Heretics.” As for Saint Francis: What did

he think of these five Friars whomarched into a mosque and

denounced Mohammed from within the Muslims’ own holyplace? Who urged Moslems fortheir own salvation not to follow

the false prophet, Mohammed?Did Saint Francis organize a

grand apology for the insensitivityof his friars for not understandingthat the “Moslems, together withus, worship the same God”?

No! Francis cried out in a

transport of gratitude to Heaven,“Now I can truly say I havefive brothers.”9

This is the true spirit of Saint

    Francis of Assisi.

In 2001, Kasper said,“... today we no longer understand ecumen-ism in the sense of a return, by which the oth-ers would ‘be converted’ and return to being‘Catholics’. This was expressly abandoned at

Vatican II.” In 2003, Cardinal Kasper went onto proclaim, “Several aspects of being churchare better realized in other churches. There-fore, ecumenism is no one-way street, but areciprocal learning process, or, as stated in UtUnum Sint , an exchange of gifts. The way tounity is therefore not the return of others intothe fold of the Catholic Church.” This openlydefies the Catholic doctrine, defined infalliblythree times, that outside the Catholic Church

    there is no salvation. (4)  Lives of Saints,“Saint Francis of Assisi” (John J. Crawley &Co.,1954). (5) Cuthbert, Life, p. 280. (6) Livesof Saints, John J. Crawley & Co. (7) Cuthbert,Life, p. 283. (8) Ibid., p. 284. (9) Ibid., p. 285.

     WHAT DOES “HOLY” MEAN?

The following TV news report by John Vennari from St. Peter’s Square, was broadcast throughout Rome on Fatima TV channel 217 on March14, 2013.

    By John Vennari

We are here at the Vaticanon the second day ofthe reign of the new

Pope, Pope Francis! We call the

Pope “Holy Father” and I think it would be beneficial for us at thistime to step back and take a lookat the word “Holy” within thecontext of the title, “Holy Father,”because it’s a word that is verymuch misunderstood.

In fact, if you went up tomembers of 10 differentdenominations – and I wouldeven say, at this point in timein the Church that even if you

went up to 10 different Catholicpriests – and you asked each ofthem for a definition of holiness,

each of them will probably give you a different answer comparedto the other, and chances are noneof them would be right!

But thankfully we have the writings of one of the greatestmystical writers of the spiritual

life in the 20th Century:Blessed Abbot Marmion, agreat Benedictine abbot, who, based on the teaching of SaintThomas Aquinas, wrote about this

     very thing.

Holiness consists of a doubleelement: it has a negative[absent] element and a positive

    [present] element.

First, we have to start withthe holiness of God, and in Godholiness is the infinite distancefrom all that is sin, from all thatis imperfect, from all that isimpure. He is infinitely free from

every spot or stain or shadow ofimperfection.

That’s the negative aspect, butthe positive aspect is that Godadheres by an always-present actof His will to the infinite goodness which is Himself in order to

conform Himself entirely to allthat infinite goodness is.

Now once we know what thatmodel of holiness is, we see thatthis model is what we see inOur Lord Jesus Christ. He wasinfinitely free from every spot orstain or shadow of corruption, and He always adhered by anever-present act of His willto the infinite good which

     was Himself.

    The Fatima Crusader | Spring 2013 35

The same model ofholiness we see for OurBlessed Mother. She was without stain of sin, She

was born without OriginalSin, She was free from everyspot, stain or shadow ofcorruption and She alwaysadhered by an act of Her willto the infinite good whichis God, in order to conformHerself to His infinite

goodness. So now we have a better

idea of what we see with“Holy Father”, that the HolyFather himself must teacha doctrine that is free fromevery spot, stain or shadow

of corruption, be free fromall error, confusion andambiguity, and he mustalso teach a doctrine thatadheres to the infinite good which is God Himself, to thetrue and genuine Catholicdoctrine taught throughout

the centuries. So this is whatholiness is, this is the HolyFather’s duty, and as OurLady of Fatima says – andthe Message of Fatima says– we must pray a great dealfor the Holy Father, pray a

great deal for Pope Francis. For Fatima TV, I’m John

     Vennari.|

St. Francis of Assisi was well-known forhis humility and holiness as well as forhaving a deep appreciation for peace.Pope Francis chose his name because ofthe three virtues of St. Francis: his love

of poverty, his love of peace, and his loveof God’s creation. Read “Saint Francis ofAssisi Was Committed to the Conversionof Souls” on page 30 of this issue.

     WHY DID BENEDICT XVI RESIGN?

The following is an English transcript of a Fatima TV interview done onMarch 6, 2013, (a week before Pope Francis was elected) with FatherPaul Kramer which was broadcast across Rome in Italian. Father

Kramer has degrees in Theology, Philosopy and a Master of Divinity. He has authored many books, the most recent being The Mysteryof Iniquity .

For ease of reading, the questions of the Fatima TV interviewer, PeterDychtiar, are in red and Father Kramer’s responses are in black.

In your opinion, what is behind

the recent resignation of PopeBenedict XVI?

Well, the Pope stated quiteclearly that he is weakening, that his health is deterioratingand he is no longer able to governthe Church. That is the principal

reason, and from reports comingfrom other sources his health isreally deteriorating – so he thinksthat for the good of the Church hehad to step down.

Do you think there were otherinfluences which affected this

    decision?I would think so, because

already four years ago he hadin his mind to resign. I heardreports that he was not reallypleased about having to be somuch involved in administrationand government. It was difficult. There are factions in the Churchand having to deal with oppositionis something that at his age he was finding difficult. So he visited

the tomb of Pope Celestine V on

April 10, 2009 and he removedthe pallium, the sign of his poweras Bishop of Rome. He removed itfrom his shoulders and placed iton the tomb of Saint Celestine andleft it there. The significance ofthis gesture is that Pope Celestine

was a Pope who resigned ofhis own volition, not being inany way coerced or pressuredby others.

What kind of factions might beinvolved in making a decisionlike this? Obviously it’s beenongoing for a long time.

I have heard about it for along time from people who arein high positions in the Vatican. There was Monsignor Zanoni andMonsignor Mario Marini, who wasthe late secretary of the EcclesiaDei Commission.

They spoke of ecclesiasticalFreemasonry, the Masonic party inthe Holy See opposing those whoare faithful to the Magisterium

and the traditional teaching anddiscipline of the Church. They were up against reformists, who were generally known to be the

progressive wing; but also of the so-called “conservatives”, includingsome that were in positionsof power.

That would be primarily the forcethat the Pope would have been atissue with, struggling with, in orderto govern the Church according tohis conscience and the teaching ofChrist – where you have this group who are promoting their ownMasonic agenda in the Church. That is the point of conflict.

A lot of people don’t understand what Freemasonry is. Is it a

    business club; a gentlemen’sclub?

It has that appearance. Theylike to present themselves that way, but below that surfacethere is an agenda that they haveannounced for centuries. Since

the 1700’s they have made it very clear that they are workingto establish in the world, a globalone-world government, a one-

world republic and a one-worldreligion that gets all religions,Christian and non-Christian, andblends them all together under

    one organizational umbrella.

How can I recognize a Mason?Do they wear any specificinsignia? Are they all over the

     world?

Yes, they are all over the world.Sometimes they wear a Masonicbadge or have an insignia on their

car; but at other times, if they don’t want you to know, you have no way of knowing it. They exchangetheir private handshake, by whicha Mason identifies himself to abrother Mason.

It’s just like the early Christians

who used cryptic symbolism – likethe fish in the sand – signifying with a secret signal that they wereChristians. Masons have their ownsecret signals to communicate with each other that they areMasons. They have their owndistress signal. If a Mason is in

court and wants some extra helpfrom the judge which perhapsis not entirely within the letterof the law, he’ll give a Masonicdistress signal and, more oftenthan not, he will be let off.

The head of the Church is

Christ Himself. If we lookat the Masonic order – wholeads them? Whom dothey follow?

This is the thing aboutFreemasonry. They have unknownpatriarchs; they have Supreme

Councils, but the members’names are not published toMasons beneath them. From thehighest degrees, orders are givento Masons of the lower degrees

    – which they must obey. After you reach a certain degree inMasonry, you must obey underpenalty of death. So you have no

way to appeal. You simply mustcarry out your orders; do what you’re told; or else you pay thepenalty. You must also maintainthe Masonic secrets. The secretsof the Order are internal andthere is a death penalty for those

     who reveal them.

It’s called, in reality, a MasonicTemple, right? They go to aMasonic temple?

That’s right, becauseFreemasonry is a religion.Even though they don’t like tosay that, they are a religion.

In the document of theExcommunication of the GrandLodge of Uruguay, if I’m notmistaken, it is stated in the decreefrom the Mother Lodge of Englandthat Masonry is a religion. Nowthe religion of Freemasonry

is the religion of the so-calledancient mysteries – which is thesystematic pagan mystery religionof the ancient times – that hasbeen woven together into thismodern organization that wecall Freemasonry.

    Shriners are Masons, right? So

we’re talking about Masons thatare clowns; they go to parades; we see them at all levels. At whatlevel of Masonry would they be?

They are a high degree. Forexample, they either have to havecompleted the 6th degree of the

York rite or the 33rd degree of

the Scottish rite to be a Shriner. That is not to say that this is thehighest degree of Masonry – thereare much higher degrees thanthat, but that is what is generallyknown to the public. That’s ashigh as you will get for ordinaryMasons. At that level they qualify

to be Shriners, but even thoughthey may clown around in public, their religion is not clownery atall. Saint Paul says, as the saintstell us: the gods of the pagansare devils. And the gods of theFreemasons are devils.

Why does this group want todestroy the Church? What istheir motive?

Their motive is that theyserve the devil, and they haveopenly said this. In my book,The Mystery of Iniquity , you’ll

find the quotation where theyproclaim that they will marchunder the standard of satan. So, they willingly do the workof the devil. Not all of them. Asone Grand Master points out,90% of Freemasons do not know what Masonry is really about.

That Grand Master was quotedby Father Adler in his bookThe Antichristian Revolution of

     Freemasonry .

  • 8/18/2019 Fatima Crusader 105

    39/64

    The Fatima Crusader | Spring 2013 39

But the other 10% of Masonsknow exactly what it is allabout – gaining positions ofpower in the Church in order to

subvert and destroy the Church;gaining positions of power in thegovernments of the nations inorder to subvert them; destroyingthe sovereign states and creatinga one-world republic, a one-worldgovernment and a one-worldMasonic religion that diverts the

worship and devotion away fromGod and enthrones satan.

How did they infiltrate theChurch? They must be withinthe Vatican walls.

They cultivated relationships with young prelates, young

priests – when they are hired to work in the Vatican. Even beforethat, when they see young mendestined for a high place in theChurch, they begin to cultivaterelations with these men. Theyintroduce them to people who

are the movers and shakers; theytake them to diplomatic partiesand gatherings; they give themmoney so they can have an amplebank account; and they promotetheir career among others in theChurch hierarchy with whomthey have influence. In this

manner, they are able to promotethe careers of these men.

At some point, they will beinvited to join Freemasonry

where they can rise to the topand move to very high positions.Or else, at that point – if the mandeclines and doesn’t want to

become a Mason – then, no moremoney and no more connections with powerful people. They would simply be reverted back to what they were when they first letthese people enter their life. Andtheir career is not going to moveforward without an act of God!

So this has been a long, conscious movement, but howis it that a young man who hasentered a seminary to becomea priest, is not aware of theinsidiousness of Masonry?

    These are secret societies and

they don’t advertise their agendathat much. The devil likes to besecretive and so do his followers. In the 1820s, the Masonicassociation called the Alta Vendita reported to their leader that theirpropaganda in the clergy was

fantastically successful in plantingthe Masonic ideas into the mindsof the young clergy. Their agenda was: “Let them think that they aremarching under the standard ofthe Keys of Peter; whereas, in fact, they will be marching under ourstandard.”

In 1917, Saint MaximiliamKolbe saw in a parade in Rome, celebrating the 2nd centenary ofFreemasonry, a plaque saying:

“Satan will rule from the Vatican, the Pope will be his slave.” Thisbrings us back to the strugglethat the Pope has against

Freemasonry, which attempts todominate and coerce the Popeand tries to enslave him intomaking their policies the officialpolicies of the Church.

Obviously, the infiltration wasat a high level. Do you thinkthey had any involvement inthe killing of Pope John Paul Iin 1978?

Men of rather high rank havediscussed precisely this point. As I mentioned before, Msgr.Mario Marini was a close friendof Cardinal Edouard Gagnon.

Cardinal Gagnon, MonsignorMarini and I were all commonfriends; we all knew each other– and I heard of a conversationthat took place three days beforethe death of John Paul I. CardinalGagnon (still an Archbishop at the

time) said to Msgr. Marini: “Theyare going to kill this Pope! He istrying to make too many changesand he is trying to make them tooquickly.” Three days later, Marinicalled Archbishop Gagnon andhe said: “Your Excellency, do you remember what you told

me three days ago?” He replied,“I remember very well, and theydid it!”

Now I’ve done a great deal of

research myself, not only frombooks and articles, but also fromsources inside the Vatican whoconfirmed what I’ve read from

published sources. The picturethat emerges is very clear in mymind. I had already found outthat John Paul I intended toremove Bishop Paul Marcinkusas the president of the VaticanBank. The Vatican Bank, at thattime, was very much involved

and connected with the Banco Ambrosiano of Roberto Calvi, and they would lose the supportand the access to funds that they

were getting from the Vatican, ifMarcinkus was removed.

     Because Marcinkus moved very

much within the Masonic circle,he was a suspected Freemason, and there was evidence that he was, in fact, a Freemason. He was close to Calvi and Calvi was amember of the P2 Italian MasonicLodge. Calvi was a protégé ofMichele Sindona, who caused

the first banking scandal in the Vatican with the collapse of theFrench National Bank in LongIsland. They were both underLicio Gelli’s P2 Masonic lodge.

They were in a state of panic when Pope John Paul I made

it known that Bishop PaulMarcinkus would be removed. On the evening of the night John

ARE WE CLOSE TO A PAPAL FUNERAL?

Our Lord told Sister Lucy: “Pray a great deal for the Holy Father... theHoly Father will have much to suffer.” We must redouble our prayersand sacrifices for Pope Emeritus Benedict as well as for Pope Francisduring these apocalyptic times.

Pope Emeritus Benedictlooks very frail. It has beenreported widely that he

has lost much weight and looksdangerously thin, as you can seeby the photo above when he was

We must pray for him that OurLady will console him throughthe burdens and sufferings he isundoubtedly going through.|

Paul I died, he had a heateddiscussion with Cardinal Jean Villot, the Secretary of State,

and he mentioned that Villot wasgoing to be removed as Secretaryof State! Villot’s family, forgenerations, have been Masons, and there is plenty of evidence tosuggest that the Cardinal himself was a Freemason. Villot was goingto be removed; others suspectedof Freemasonic ties were going tobe removed; but the clincher wasthat Bishop Paul Marcinkus wasgoing to be removed. At that pointthey were in a state of panic andthey had to act quickly.

So he was a key player,

    obviously?

Yes. But he also made it knownthat John Paul I wanted toconsecrate Russia! I’ve seen thedocumentation that John Paul Idid, in fact, make statements tothe effect that he was intending

to consecrate Russia to theImmaculate Heart of Mary asOur Lady of Fatima has requested.John Paul I died quite suddenly– they put out rumors about himhaving a heart condition, but hehad quite good health so there isno truth to those rumors at all.

So then, the P2 lodge must stillexist today?

Yes. There’s the connection withthe death of Roberto Calvi. Calvi

got into difficulty when there was a disappearance of – I don’tremember the exact figure – 1.4billion dollars or even more than

that! That money disappearedfrom the Banco Ambrosiano andCalvi was under indictment. Hedid not want to fall alone. If he wasgoing to be the one that took thefall, he was going to take othersdown with him. So he threatenedLicio Gelli, the Venerable Master

of the P2 – we’re talking abouta person who was convicted forfinancing terrorist operations, and was suspected of involvementin the death of the former PrimeMinister, Aldo Moro. There was aconnection there. Henry Kissinger

threatened Aldo Moro, but herefused – as Prime Minister – toengage the government in thepolicy of population reductionand deindustrialization. Kissingersaid to him: “You will pay dearlyfor this.” Now Kissinger was afriend and associate of Licio Gelli.

In fact, Gelli, himself, mentionedin a 1982 interview that whenhis daughter was married, atthe wedding reception at hismansion, in Arezzo, one of theguests was Henry Kissinger.

    It was the Red Brigades

who actually carried out theassassination of Aldo Morobut evidence has emerged inthe intervening decades thatGelli had a great influence over

the Red Brigades. Here we seethe clear connection betweenKissinger, Licio Gelli of P2 andRoberto Calvi.

Now, the connection withJohn Paul I is this: Roberto Calvi

was in a desperate situation. Heneeded money. He needed 1.4billion dollars, and he needed itfast to get out of hot water and tobe able to make this indictmentgo away. Gelli told him that the Vatican had a slush fund from which they could get the moneyto him – but in order to obtain it,he had to go to London to fulfillcertain formalities.

Of course, these formalities, infact, turned out to be the plans

for his almost ritual execution! He was found hanging from theBlackfriars Bridge in London. The reason he was killed is this:Gelli was a master blackmailer. In desperate times, people resortto desperate measures and Calvi

was blackmailing the masterblackmailer. The threat was:“If you don’t come up with thismoney I’ll blow the whistle onthe P2 involvement in the killingof John Paul I.” By making thisthreat to the Venerable Master ofthe P2 lodge, Licio Gelli, friend

of Henry Kissinger and also anacquaintance of David Rockefeller– Calvi got out of his debt, but hepaid for it with his life.

Obviously, the control by theMasons in the Vatican is prettyextreme. Are they in control ofthe Cardinal Electors and the

election itself?  Again, it depends. Pope

Benedict has made a number ofCardinals I’m very pleased with.By and large the Cardinals of PopeBenedict are a cut above those who were named by John Paul II.The Conclave that elected JosephRatzinger needed to be improved– with the help of God’s help andGrace – before the 2013 Conclave.

But in the government of theChurch, I can only tell you thismuch – I’ll give you a quotationto show just how pervasive is

their power in the Vatican. In2008 Monsignor Marini said tome: “Our hands are tied!”, andhe made this gesture (crossing hisarms at the wrists as if they weretied together by a rope); “Ourhands are tied! We can do nothing

because Freemasons control keypositions in the Vatican.” This wasin October 2008, but two monthsbefore dying – he died in May2009 – Marini told me again:
