A Letter To Our ParentsThe Fighting Chance of Louisville, Inc. would like to invite our parents to
participate with our annual fundraiser, Fighting Chance of Louisville,
Inc. Presents, An Evening of Fine Dining and Entertainment.
Parents, we need your support! With your help, our organization can provide
needed programs and resources that promote academic excellence, as well pre-
pare urban youth for the rigors of secondary education.
Here is something to consider. The Bluegrass Institute, a local educationalthink tank, goes on to state...Based on the latest available high school
graduation rates, the district (Jefferson County Public Schools)
drops out a lot more students than the statewide average. Parents,
with your support, Fighting Chance of Louisville, Inc., can maintain
their programs which help to decrease the dropout rate, as well as promote col-
lege readiness and school success.
How can you help us to empower youth?
Attend our Get Involved Parent Meeting on Dec 4th @ 6pm, at the Ware-house on Millers Lane, 2501 Millers Lane, Lou, KY 40216
Provide a donation of$10.00or more (to assist with purchasing items for our
annual fundraisers silent auction).
Volunteer (to sell tickets, assist in coordinating event activities (a volunteer
schedule and sign-up sheet will be provided at the parent meeting).
For donations, please forward a check or money order to Fighting Chance of
Louisville, Inc., 2501 Millers Lane, Lou, KY, 40216. For more info about
how you can help, call 502-383-1596 or forward an email to visionof-
