Interviews

When in a TV documentary they use an interview to make a comparison between the two; observation sequences, this is when interviews can either be completely un-interrupted or they can be in fractions. It could be split and information is then put between the interview(s) The image or reconstruction of the conservation.

Dramatisation

The sequences are dramatised to show the people and the events that the film maker is not able to gain access in reality e.g. reconstruction.

Exposition

It is the argument within the documentary itself, what the documentary is talking about. The sequences can also be used to let the audience make their own conclusions.

Mise en scene

The mise en scene for this documentary is setting the directors and producers use. When the documentary makers gently construct the shot, they use props and lighting in the likes of interviews or when it comes to talking to someone if in an enclosed space (not outside).
